Chapter 952: Chapter 943: Exposure (3)
Xia Siyu woke up in the middle of the night.
When she awoke, she raised her eyes to see an unfamiliar ceiling, unfamiliar fluorescent tubes.
There was a scent of dicine around, unfamiliar and pungent. She turned her head slightly and saw the IV bag hanging beside her. Slowly raising her hand, ah, there was a needle in her palm. And her clothes, yes, hospital garb.

She rembered a ti when she was little, skiing with her mom and dad, rolling down the slope and sitting on the ground crying. At night, he stayed by her side the whole night.
When she woke up in the middle of the night, her father had not slept yet, his eyes red and full of bloodshot veins.
Although as she grew older, she learned of her father’s choices between the Xia Family and her mother and herself and has been hating him till today, she understood that her father truly cared about her and that had never changed.
As Xia Siyu looked on, the door was pushed open, and Bo Yan walked in.
The mont he ca in, he noticed that Xia Siyu was awake, his face full of distress.
He closed the door and hurriedly walked towards her, taking her hand as soon as he arrived, while his other hand reached for her forehead, then gently stroked her face. Her face had acquired scrapes when she had just jumped down, and his slightly moist fingertips brushed over those scabbed small wounds, bringing her a rough tenderness.
Bo Yan caressed for several monts before slowly pressing his forehead against hers, his voice very light: “Don’t ever do sothing like this again. I’m really scared.”
When Bo Yan said this, his voice trembled slightly. So close, Xia Siyu could clearly see the panic in the bottom of his eyes.
He stopped hiding. In front of the person he cared about most, he just couldn’t maintain his composure.
Only heaven knows how much he regretted seeing Xia Siyu faint in Xia Youbiao’s arms at the scene. He always thought that people should make sacrifices for art, even if it ant danger, to so degree of exposure. As long as it was for art, as long as the logic made sense, he would attempt it.
But now, he was truly shaken. He could jump himself, but he absolutely did not want Xia Siyu to go through danger again, not even a bit.
Thankfully, thankfully she was brought to the hospital, underwent a comprehensive physical examination, no fractures, no internal bleeding, but, indeed there was a bit of cartilage damage, which needed several days of rest. But even with that, he still felt imnse regret.
If just now Xia Siyu seeing her father brought back the warmth of mories, then seeing Bo Yan brought her back to reality. Thankfully, her reality wasn’t only about striving and wounds, but also had a bit of sweetness.
