Shi Nuan’s comnt about him being handso was obviously not enough to satisfy everyone, so Ou Xiaoning imdiately retorted, "Not just handso, he’s drop-dead gorgeous, okay?"
Shi Nuan smiled sheepishly and said nothing.
After finishing the al, it was almost half past one.
Just as they stepped out of the restaurant, Lv Nan Nan checked the ti and said, "Uh, I have sothing to do, might need to head out first!"
He isui and Shi Nuan didn’t press for details, but Ou Xiaoning, being curious, asked, "Nannan, where are you going? I was thinking we could all go shopping downtown this afternoon!"
Lv Nan Nan’s eyes flickered, and she said, "... My roommate went to the hospital this morning, right? I’m a bit worried, planning to go back and check on her!"
Ou Xiaoning exclaid "Oh," going to see a roommate was certainly expected, so she didn’t say more.
She instead turned to Shi Nuan and asked if she wanted to go shopping together, since she had already agreed with He isui to go shopping that afternoon.

"Surely, you won’t skip it too!" Ou Xiaoning frowned, pulling her in, "No way, our dorm rarely gets together, Nannan’s departure is excusable, you must co shopping with us today, no going anywhere else!"
Shi Nuan couldn’t resist Ou Xiaoning and eventually nodded in agreent.
Although she really wanted to et Song Yansheng now, Ou Xiaoning was right, they had graduated for so ti, and it was rare to gather together, so the opportunity was indeed precious.

Nonetheless, Shi Nuan decided to call Song Yansheng, at least to let him know, so he wouldn’t worry.
Shi Nuan went to make the phone call while He isui and Ou Xiaoning hailed a cab at the roadside.
Given that it was T University’s anniversary today, cabs were hard to co by, and Lv Nan Nan said she might take the bus.
Ou Xiaoning thought there was no need; they were heading downtown to shop, and it wouldn’t be a problem to drop Lv Nan Nan at the hospital, it shouldn’t be far.
Lv Nan Nan declined, saying, "No need, I’ll take the bus; you guys have fun shopping, rember to buy more new clothes!"
Without waiting for Ou Xiaoning’s response, Lv Nan Nan walked straight towards the bus station, and Ou Xiaoning stuck out her tongue as she watched her leave.
"Nannan really is sothing; taking a cab with us would be quicker and easier, wonder what she’s being stubborn about..."
He isui didn’t speak, but she internally felt that Lv Nan Nan’s goodbye was not just to see that roommate in the hospital.
While eating, she had noticed Lv Nan Nan occasionally glancing at her phone, which struck her as odd.
Actually, this whole morning, Lv Nan Nan had been acting strange.
She couldn’t figure out why, but after all, they were college friends for four years and usually got along well.
She hoped whatever was going on with Lv Nan Nan wasn’t particularly bad.
He isui continued to hail a cab, while Shi Nuan went on to call Song Yansheng.
Song Yansheng answered quickly, and before Shi Nuan could speak, he was already asking where she was, seemingly planning to arrange for soone to pick her up.
Shi Nuan felt a bit embarrassed and gently explained that she was about to go shopping with her roommates.
Song Yansheng instantly went silent, evidently not too pleased.
Shi Nuan said, "It’s been a while since I got together with my roommates, Second Uncle, don’t be so petty!"
Song Yansheng responded, "I’m always generous, but with you, I can’t be."
Even over the phone, Shi Nuan felt the heat on her face; she said, "I’ll be ho soon!"
Her voice softened a bit, with a hint of a tiny plea, which made Song Yansheng’s heart itch.
