Fifteen years ago, Song Yansheng’s father had an accident and beca a vegetable, and the Song Group he had founded was taken over by Song Zhongming.
Song Zhongming had just been appointed as vice president in the company, while Song Yansheng was still young, and the Song Family had no other relatives. So, it seed reasonable for the outside world that he temporarily assud the role of president.

Shi Nuan and Song Yansheng returned to the Song Mansion. They had been resting for less than ten minutes when Song Zhongming arrived with his team at the Song Mansion.
When Shi Nuan was initially engaged to Song Yichuan, she t Song Zhongming quite a few tis, so eting him in such a setting was sowhat awkward. She excused herself to go upstairs.
Song Yansheng didn’t stop her and instructed Aunt Hui to bring a fruit platter and so hot juice upstairs, telling the little girl to relax alone.
Soon after Shi Nuan went upstairs, Song Zhongming was ushered in by the servant.
He only saw a hint of light blue shadow at the staircase, guessed who it might be, and didn’t ask further. He directly asked the project leader to show their bidding plan to Song Yansheng!

Shi Nuan stayed upstairs for half an hour before Aunt Hui ca to call her down for dinner.
Shi Nuan had been so absorbed in her book that she hadn’t noticed if Song Zhongming had already left.
Aunt Hui noticed Shi Nuan’s hesitation and respectfully said, "Lady, Mr. Song has already left!"
Shi Nuan responded with an "oh" and felt sowhat embarrassed, but also appreciated Aunt Hui’s perceptiveness.
Aunt Hui was indeed remarkable, no wonder she’d been working at the Song Mansion for so long...
When Shi Nuan went downstairs, Song Yansheng was not in the living room. A servant sorting the tea set downstairs said, "Mr. Song is making a call in the garden, he’ll be back soon!"
Shi Nuan understood and didn’t think much of it. She sat on the sofa, waiting.
On the table, there were so newspapers. She casually picked one up to read.
The newspapers were stacked neatly, looking like they hadn’t been browsed by anyone, which made sense since she was in a rush to work today and Song Yansheng naturally hadn’t had ti to read them.
Shi Nuan initially looked at the finance section. Besides the upcoming bidding for the Lishui Project, there was no particularly attention-grabbing news.
She then turned to the current affairs section and casually browsed, finding nothing of interest to her.
Just as she was about to put the newspaper back, her eyes suddenly caught a piece of news in the entertainnt section.
The newspaper featured a man’s photo, but it was only a side profile, and he wore sunglasses.
Yet even so, she recognized him instantly; it was Shen Zui, but the na given in the paper was: Sidney!
Sidney?
Shi Nuan recalled that once, she had seed to see this na in the paper before!
At the ti, the photo almost obscured the man’s face; she felt it was familiar but didn’t think much of it!
Now she realized: so it was Shen Zui all along!
