Early next morning, around seven o’clock, Shi Nuan got out of bed. She had just finished freshening up when soone knocked on the door.
It was Aunt Hui.
Aunt Hui said, "Lady, breakfast is ready, and Mr. Song is waiting for you downstairs!"
Shi Nuan responded and said she’d be down right away.
Aunt Hui nodded and went to tidy up the bed, but finding it already made, she simply went to the window to draw the curtains and open it.
The wind from outside brought in a faint floral fragrance. Shi Nuan seed to sll gardenias among the scents.
Feeling slightly annoyed, Shi Nuan stood up and said, "Aunt Hui, you can leave now. I’ll change and co down!"
Aunt Hui acknowledged and was about to leave when Shi Nuan’s phone suddenly rang. Shi Nuan picked it up, and upon seeing the na on the screen, her eyes flickered for a mont.
Aunt Hui glanced at Shi Nuan but said nothing more, turning to leave.
After Aunt Hui left, Shi Nuan answered the call.
The voice on the other end was female, anxious, calling her, "Nuannuan?"
Shi Nuan cald herself and replied softly, "Yeah."
The female voice said, "Nuannuan, Mr. Yu and I just got back from a business trip. I heard about Young Master Song Yichuan..."
Shi Nuan pressed her lips together, waiting a mont before saying, "It’s all in the past. I’m fine!"
The female voice sighed. She knew Shi Nuan and Song Yichuan’s relationship. Saying it was fine couldn’t really an it was fine.
She asked Shi Nuan, "Nuannuan, I just returned to the company. Where are you? School? Shall we et?"
"No need, I’m not at school..." Shi Nuan said, "For now, it’s not appropriate for us to et, but I have sothing you should know first!"
The female voice was surprised, "What’s going on?"
Shi Nuan said, "If nothing unexpected happens, I’ll be registering for marriage tomorrow with Song Yansheng, the CEO of TK Group!"

At the doorway, Aunt Hui pressed her ear to the door, listening to Shi Nuan’s voice inside, her expression tinged with confusion.

Downstairs, Song Yansheng was wiping his fingers with a handkerchief. Today, he was dressed very casually: a white shirt, dark trousers, and a vest of the sa color for warmth.
He had a strong British style, excessively handso and charming.
Song Yansheng asked Aunt Hui, "Is she up?"
Today, Shi Nuan hadn’t opened the window, so it was hard for him to judge, but thinking today was Xiao Chuan’s seventh day, he figured the girl wouldn’t wake up too late, estimating the ti and had Aunt Hui call her.
