However, was Song Yansheng’s mood really unaffected? Not quite.
Shen Zui ca over today and brought things that Shi Nuan had left behind during their past relationship. Song Yansheng appeared indifferent, tossing them into the trash bin without even a glance.
But after Shen Zui left, he couldn’t control his emotions and kicked the trash bin over.
The contents spilled out: photos of Shi Nuan, a dress she once wore, and a cup she gave to Shen Zui.
Shen Zui said that these were all replicated or specially bought to look identical.
He wouldn’t part with the real gifts Shi Nuan gave him.
Because, to him, they were very precious.
Song Yansheng sat silently at that ti, his gaze and expression indifferent, listening to Shen Zui’s words.
His disguise was good enough that even the perceptive Shen Zui didn’t notice.
Song Yansheng is indeed a master at controlling emotions. Everyone who knows him, including Chi Rui, believes so.
When Chi Rui first worked with Song Yansheng, he often couldn’t guess his mood and frequently made mistakes.
But back then, Song Yansheng wasn’t as volatile, or to be precise, unless it involved Shi Nuan, he was generally a considerate boss.
Chi Rui was fortunate; by the ti Song Yansheng got involved with Shi Nuan, Chi Rui had been around him long enough to understand him.
Yet, even so, he still often failed to et Song Yansheng’s expectations.
Song Yansheng would get angry at him, but Chi Rui understood what really upset Song Yansheng.
Nowadays, Song Yansheng’s good and bad moods are indeed tied to Shi Nuan.
After kicking the trash bin, Song Yansheng left, and Yao Ziwan, who had been waiting outside, quickly approached him.
Song Yansheng didn’t look pleased, which was expected. Every ti he saw Shen Zui, his expression never improved.
Yao Ziwan glanced sideways at the overturned trash bin in the eting room, frowned slightly, and said, "Mr. Song, the group’s report eting has started. Will you go now, or...?"
Song Yansheng’s thin lips moved slightly, "Now!"
Yao Ziwan promptly responded while inwardly sighing in relief.
This man, no matter how bad his mood was, wouldn’t let serious matters be delayed. At least he wasn’t capricious.
As Song Yansheng walked ahead, Yao Ziwan paused for a mont, instructing the assistant in charge of the eting room to tidy up the trash bin and bring its contents to her office later.
The eting that Song Yansheng attended stretched until noon, quite a long session.
There was a reason for this. He was unsatisfied with nearly all the departnt heads’ summary reports.
Although there were minor flaws, previously, Song Yansheng would overlook them.
After all, they were usually small issues overshadowed by the bigger picture.
But today was entirely different; everyone noticed that the boss was in a foul mood.
No one knew why, though.
After the eting ended, Song Yansheng adjusted his suit slightly and left with a stern face.
Chi Rui and Yao Ziwan, however, weren’t as quick to depart.
Just a mont’s hesitation, and they were surrounded by departnt leaders.
Everyone asked, "What’s wrong with Mr. Song today? What happened?"
