Now that Sienna Johnson’s value had skyrocketed, it wasn’t just that she had poisoned those Tibetan Mastiffs and drugged everyone on the island; even if Sienna Johnson had stabbed Adrian Desmond himself, he would probably forgive her.

Thinking about how Adrian Desmond used to keep his distance from won, Walter Klein had thought Adrian was an odd one; little did he know that Adrian had not t his match yet. n are filled with a desire for conquest deep down in their bones. This desire is also evident in the conquest of a woman. Sienna Johnson is beautiful, intelligent, cunning, and mysterious... It’s no wonder Adrian Desmond fell for her.
"Get the ship to Romrey Port as fast as possible!" Adrian Desmond commanded.
"Yes, sir!"
Romrey Port was the largest seaport in the north of Himakati. It served as the mariti gateway to Kramut, the capital city, and was the transfer station for goods imported and exported by the northern region. Its main exports included iron, coal, rice, corn, cent, and black and non-ferrous tal ores; imports mainly consisted of machinery and textiles, among other things.
Although Adrian Desmond’s rchant fleet often frequented this port, this ti was for personal reasons.
The crew of the Shark knew that Adrian Desmond’s "son" had been kidnapped, so they devoted themselves wholeheartedly. Most of the crew mbers were experienced seafarers. Many had spent over a decade at sea and were familiar with the mariti and land routes in Southeast Agaia. Consequently, the ship’s progress was exceptionally fast.
Once ashore, Adrian Desmond’s group set out for the Himakati border.
"Have they entered Himakati’s border territory yet?" Adrian Desmond asked.
"Not yet. My cousin hasn’t spotted any suspicious vehicles. I reckon they must be using another route into Himakati; it’s not easy to hide so many won."
Xavier Young learned from his cousin that Charlie Parker’s car had not yet entered Himakati, while Aaron Faber quickly narrowed down the vehicle’s location.
"The car has stopped," said Aaron Faber.
With a deep and unfathomable gaze, Adrian Desmond ordered, "Drive faster. We must intercept them before they enter Himakati’s border."
"Understood, Sixth Master."
The majority of the crew stayed on the ship due to Adrian Desmond’s sensitive identity. To avoid drawing too much attention, he brought only a dozen people with him for the chase.
At dusk, Adrian Desmond’s party finally found the vehicle. Hiding in the shadows, Adrian Desmond asked Aaron Faber, "Are you sure it’s that car?"
"The signal ca from that car," Aaron Faber said cautiously. "Unless they’ve discovered our pursuit and are trying to lead us on a wild goose chase."
"Sixth Master, look! It’s Sister-in-law!"
The door of the vehicle’s compartnt opened, and the won inside were carried out one by one, including Sienna Johnson.
Adrian Desmond saw Sienna Johnson’s pale face and the ligature marks on her wrists, and a fire surged in his chest. Clenching his fists, he gritted his teeth and held back. He knew the timing wasn’t right; rushing into action might not save anyone and could result in injury to his own n.
"Chase, go check how many of them there are. Xavier, check if any ambushes or reinforcents are nearby. Aaron, cut off their communication signals to prevent them from contacting the outside world."
"Troy, keep your sights on the man holding Mai. If he makes any move to harm her, take him out!" Troy Duncan was the Sharpshooter, able to hit his target every ti.
"Yes!"
Taking Adrian Desmond’s instructions, the n swiftly carried out their orders.
Each of Adrian Desmond’s n was no ordinary person; each possessed unique and formidable skills. Adrian Desmond had brought almost all of his elite operatives this ti, just in case.
Within ten minutes, the n who had been sent out returned, their expressions sowhat deflated. "Sixth Master, they have no backup. There are six n in total, and one of them is Charlie Parker, the man we’re looking for!"
Adrian Desmond had mobilized so many people for this, only to find a few small-ti thugs. Any one of his elite n could have easily taken them all out.
The opponents were too weak, giving them no sense of accomplishnt.
Noticing their mood, Adrian Desmond warned, "Do you know who usually drowns at sea? Most of those who drown are good swimrs! So, don’t underestimate those guys. Everyone, stay alert. If anything happens to my son, you..."
Xavier Young chuckled, trying to curry favor. "Sixth Master, rest assured. When we make a move, it will be absolutely flawless..."
"Sixth Master, there’s a situation!"
Adrian Desmond looked over and saw Sienna Johnson scratch the man who had just been holding her. Sienna Johnson then received a slap in return, the sound of which was audible even from their distance.
"That damn woman has been awake the whole ti!"
Charlie Parker hadn’t expected such a turn of events. Seeing Sienna Johnson bolt, he shouted, "Get her! Don’t let her escape!"
Only two n stayed by the vehicle with the unconscious won; the others chased after Sienna Johnson. She was clever, though. Instead of running across open ground, she darted into the jungle. Adrian Desmond hadn’t anticipated this developnt either. He clenched his teeth and cursed, "Damn woman! I warned her not to do anything reckless! Does she think she has too many lives?"
"Chase!"
Sienna Johnson ran frantically ahead, with the traffickers in pursuit and Adrian Desmond’s n cautiously following.
As the sun set, the light grew dim. The jungle, with its towering, ancient trees, their roots and branches tangled and intertwined, beca even darker. While it might still be twilight outside, it was already night within the forest.
Sienna Johnson was unfamiliar with the terrain and stumbled several tis over protruding tree roots and stones. Each ti, she scrambled up and continued her panicked flight. Her face, arms, and legs were scratched in multiple places. At first, she felt the pain, but soon she just grew numb.
"She’s ahead, right?"
Soone behind her had turned on a flashlight. Sienna Johnson felt the beam of light chasing her back, and she ran even more desperately.
She hadn’t expected her ruse to be discovered. The man holding her had groped her, and her involuntary shiver had given her away.
At first, there were many loud footsteps and n’s voices close behind her. She felt that if she slowed down even a little, they would grab her. But then, the clamorous footsteps gradually faded.
Oddly, as silence suddenly fell behind her, Sienna Johnson beca even tenser. Confused, she wondered why they weren’t chasing her anymore. Had they decided to let her go?
Sienna Johnson didn’t dare to be optimistic. Though she didn’t understand why they had stopped chasing her, she knew it wasn’t out of a sudden pang of conscience. She didn’t dare to stop; she kept running and running.
Then, the sound of n’s footsteps echoed from behind her again. Just as she’d feared, they weren’t going to let her go.
Sienna Johnson ran so hard that her lungs ached, feeling as if they were about to explode. The footsteps grew closer, and she fell into complete despair. She knew that she would et a terrible end if they caught her again.
Suddenly, a strong pair of arms wrapped around her waist and pulled her back. "Aah!" Sienna Johnson shrieked in terror, beginning to struggle, kicking and clawing wildly at the man’s face.
