Sabrina Johnson didn’t look up. Staring at her toes, she nodded gently, the very picture of a docile and sensible girl. Pauline Briggs felt a montary daze, as if her adopted daughter hadn’t changed at all, still the sa girl who had always pleased her.
"Sabrina, darling, call Sienna down for lunch," Pauline Briggs sighed.
"Okay." Sabrina Johnson agreed obediently and then went upstairs to call Sienna Johnson.
Pauline Briggs continued to prepare lunch ticulously, hoping Sienna Johnson would enjoy the al and beco more agreeable. She hoped Sienna would listen to her advice and abandon her crazy idea.
「Sienna Johnson’s Bedroom.」
Sienna Johnson had returned to the Johnson Family intending to discuss her marriage to Adrian Desmond with her grandmother. Unexpectedly, she had fallen asleep the mont she touched the bed.
She had been exhausted lately, and with Adrian Desmond around the previous night, she hadn’t slept well.
As she gradually regained consciousness, she sensed sothing unusual in the air, as if a pair of eyes were constantly staring at her. When she felt hot breath on her face, she snapped her eyes open to find soone hovering right in front of her.
"AH!" she scread reflexively, lashing out to scratch the intruder.
"****!" The intruder, wincing in pain from the scratch, grabbed Sienna Johnson’s hand. "It’s , Adrian Desmond!"
Sienna Johnson opened her eyes and focused on the man before her. Adrian Desmond, his eyes bloodshot, glared at the terrified woman. "You... how did you get in?" Sienna Johnson still hadn’t fully co to her senses.
Adrian Desmond didn’t wipe the bloody scratches on his face. "Since when did you beco a cat? Your claws are so sharp! How can I show my face in public now?"
The window was open, and a breeze drifted in. Adrian Desmond, that ever-present man, had been staring at her for who knew how long.
"How did you get in?"
Adrian Desmond lay down beside Sienna Johnson. She imdiately scooted away, maintaining a safe distance. He laced his hands behind his head, one long leg casually crossed over the other, a roguish look on his face.
"I climbed in through the window."
Sienna Johnson stared at him in shock. "We have infrared surveillance in our house."
Adrian Desmond laughed. "Don’t forget who I am. How could that rudintary piece of tech stop ?" He turned onto his side, propping his head on one hand. Sienna Johnson leaned back, her guard up. "Adrian Desmond, don’t ss around. This is the Johnson Family residence."
A malicious smile played in Adrian Desmond’s dark eyes, which seed to pierce through her like X-rays, making Sienna Johnson shudder. "I didn’t intend to do anything else," he said. "But since you’ve brought it up, if I don’t do sothing, I’d be letting your expectations down, wouldn’t I?"
She expected him to get lost!
"What do you want to do?"
Adrian Desmond grabbed the ankle of Sienna Johnson, who was trying to jump off the bed, and pulled her towards him, imdiately pinning her beneath him.
The woman’s body was soft, as if boneless, and fragrant. Her slender, pale neck was beautiful, and strands of her hair brushed his face. A sudden illicit fire surged in his lower abdon.
"Adrian Desmond, let go of ."
Sienna Johnson hated this completely vulnerable position.
"Don’t move!" he growled, his brow deeply furrowed as if enduring great pain.
Sienna Johnson’s mory of her past intimacy with this man wasn’t pleasant; it was filled with pain. She was afraid he would force her and desperately wanted to get rid of him. She hated his strong masculine scent. His aura enveloped her like the dense, dark night, binding her tightly.
"Damn it, I told you not to move! If you move again, I’ll **** you right now!"
Blood rushed to her head, and Sienna Johnson’s face turned as red as a ripe tomato. This man was constantly pushing her boundaries.
"Adrian Desmond, besides these things, can’t you think about anything wholeso?"
"Hey, lift your head. Do you want to suffocate?"
Adrian Desmond got off Sienna Johnson. She buried her face in the soft bedding as if she were dying, refusing to look up. He pulled her out from the covers, only to see her face flushed a shade of red that looked like it could bleed.
"Why is your face so red?"

"Get out of here!"
"Let kiss you."
Adrian Desmond started to get handsy with Sienna Johnson. She recoiled from him as if he were a leech, desperate to avoid his touch. "Adrian Desmond, if you keep acting like this, I won’t marry you!"
"You dare say that again!" His dark eyes were gloomy and dangerous, his aura like that of a venomous snake, and a hair-raising chill emanated from him. Before Sienna Johnson could react, she was pinned down again. "Say it again?"
A dangerous air flowed around Sienna Johnson. She knew she had provoked the wolf that was Adrian Desmond. Daring not to look at him, she suppressed her fear and said stubbornly, "I won’t marry you! I won’t! Even if every other man in the world died, I still wouldn’t marry you!"
Sienna Johnson’s eyes reddened and filled with tears. She had never felt so humiliated. Adrian Desmond remained motionless for a long ti.
Sienna Johnson looked up through tear-filled eyes to see what Adrian Desmond was doing. She saw him sitting beside her, his dark eyes gloomy and dangerous, his aura like that of a venomous snake, exuding a hair-raising chill. Before she could react, she was pinned down again.
This ti, he had taken off his pants, while she wore only a thin pair of underwear.
"No, no... Adrian Desmond, you wouldn’t dare!" Her voice trembled.
Adrian Desmond was completely different from any man she had encountered before. He was domineering, crude, and overly aggressive. Sienna Johnson wasn’t sure if marrying him was the right choice.
"Adrian Desmond, I’m not ready."
His hand boldly slipped under her clothes from the side, caressing her fullness. He asked softly, "I didn’t quite hear what you said just now. Can you repeat it?"
Sienna Johnson would have to be a fool to repeat what she had just said under his predatory gaze.
"You said you wouldn’t force ." Sienna Johnson knew this man responded to soft tactics but not hard ones, so she tily softened her stance.
"Tomorrow is an auspicious day. How about we go get our marriage certificate?"
"Adrian Desmond, the marriage customs in Sileria City are quite complicated. Although you’re marrying into my family, formalities like the proposal and engagent are still necessary. Since you intend to marry , you should co propose soon."
Going through all those procedures would take at least a year before they could get married.
A lot of "accidents" could happen in a year.
By then, whether they would actually marry was still uncertain.
