Leanne Andrews is Sienna Johnson’s senior and three years older than her. She is officially approaching her thirties. Her family is putting a lot of pressure on her to get married, and she also wants to tie the knot before her youth fades, but her significant other hasn’t co along yet.

Seeing Leanne’s anxiousness to get married, Sienna took off her gold tiara and said, "Who says you can’t throw the bouquet at an Oriental-style wedding? This gold tiara is much more valuable than a bouquet. Whoever picks it up can keep it."

The tiara was gorgeously crafted, with patterns of flowers and butterflies, and ruby flower buds. The gold and red touches not only complented each other but also added a touch of majestic beauty.

"Wow, if I catch this tiara, even if I can’t find a man next year, it’ll be worth it. This must cost a fortune." Leanne Andrews was imdiately captivated by the gold tiara in Sienna’s hand. She took it and eagerly tried it on, asking, "Do I look pretty?"

Henry Evans laughed. "You’re such a gold-digger; you don’t even need a man anymore."

"I want both a man and money. I’m just preparing for the worst. If I can’t find a husband next year, at least I’ll have this golden tiara; it’ll be so consolation."

"You’re a top-tier screenwriter, and you’re still short of money?"

"Ah... the money all went to the producers; all I have is fa."

Leanne held it in her hand, caressing it fondly. After admiring it for a while, she finally passed it back to Sienna.

"Hurry up and throw it, and rember to throw it my way," Leanne urged.

"Okay."

Sienna turned around, took a few steps, and was ready to throw when Henry Evans yelled, "Wait!"

"What’s up?"

Dressed in a light pink bridesmaid dress, Henry Evans lifted her skirt and walked onto the stage. "That’s not fair!" she said. "You already know where Leanne Andrews is standing and intend to throw it towards her. That’s too unfair." Saying this, she grabbed Sienna and twirled her around.

Leanne was not pleased. "Henry Evans, you sly minx, I should have figured you’d want the tiara as well..."

Henry Evans laughed beside her. "Yes, I intend to get married next year too."

"I’m such an old maid and I’m not even married yet! One of you already has a child who’s four, and the other is still young. And you both want to compete with for n? I don’t need friends like you. Our friendship is over!"

"Alright, alright, I’m dizzy."

Henry Evans stopped, had Sienna stand with her back to them, then ran over to stand beside Leanne. Then she yelled to Sienna, "Sienna, throw it now, we’re ready!"

"Sienna, here, here, I’m here..." Leanne was waving and jumping on the spot.

Adrian Desmond watched, a bit puzzled. Does catching the bouquet an you’ll get married? That’s too unscientific. What on earth are these won thinking?

"I’m going to throw it now!"

Sienna felt a little dizzy. As she threw the tiara high in the air, she lost her footing and stumbled from the stage. Just as they heard Leanne exclaim, "AH..." Sienna fell into a man’s strong embrace. After the dizziness subsided, Sienna found herself looking at Adrian Desmond’s face.

"What kind of friends do you keep? Every single one of them is abnormal."

"At least they’re much more normal than your friends!" Rembering the groomsn at the door-picking ceremony, Sienna felt both embarrassed and shy. What kind of people were her friends anyway?

"Most of my friends are in Abyanabad. My wedding was planned in haste, so most of them couldn’t make it. Alex brought those soldiers from his unit to be the groomsn. They might be a little rough around the edges, but they an no harm." Adrian was mainly concerned about safety, which is why he invited people with military backgrounds.

"Was Madam Johnson really upset with your groomsn?" Sienna smirked.

"Madam Johnson was indeed upset, but you seed quite pleased."

"Who says?"

Adrian Desmond smiled without saying a word.

"Do you really not need to check on lanie Carpenter?"

Adrian’s face darkened, and he looked annoyed. He didn’t want to discuss lanie Carpenter with Sienna on their wedding day.

"I’ve done everything I should do. I don’t want to do things I shouldn’t," Adrian said coldly.

"A man’s heart truly changes. Four years ago, lanie Carpenter slit her wrists in a suicide attempt, and you married her. Four years later, she attempted suicide again, and now you’re ignoring her," Sienna remarked sarcastically.

"You know the relationship between lanie and . I’ve also told you about the conflict between the Desmond family and the Carpenter family. Four years ago, I was greedy and thought of marrying both you and lanie. If I had known back then how resolute you would be, I would never have married lanie..." He tried to explain, not wanting their relationship to be affected by lanie Carpenter.

"If I were lanie Carpenter, I would hate you too," Sienna replied from lanie Carpenter’s perspective. "You gave her hope and then let her down!"

"I admit it was my fault. My indecisiveness hurt her. Four years ago, if I had been more firm, maybe lanie wouldn’t have ended up like this..."

lanie Carpenter was no longer a normal person. Her ntal state had deteriorated, and she had beco paranoid. Adrian could no longer communicate with her.

"Today is our wedding. Can we please not talk about other won?"

Adrian had prepared many activities for tonight, but looking at Sienna, she didn’t seem interested. He felt a pang of regret.

His dream of a perfect wedding was ultimately unfulfilled.

"What about the child?"

"Devin Desmond? I had soone inform Jule. He’s his son, so naturally, he should take responsibility for him!" Adrian said.

"If he’s not your son, why did you let him take your surna?"

"lanie chose the na. There are many people in the world with the surna Desmond; I can’t very well stop him from using it. You don’t need to worry about these things. All you need to know is that he’s not my son."

"..."

"Sienna, can we please stop talking about other people?" Adrian looked discontentedly at the woman in his arms. She was gazing at the dark blue night sky, her red dress, red lips, and black hair striking against it.

"Okay."

"Curly, that’s mine, give it back to !"

"No way! It’s mine! I found it, so it’s mine!"

Sienna looked over and saw Curly clutching the golden tiara she had thrown, glaring hostilely at Leanne, who was trying to snatch it from her.

It turned out that Sienna had misaid her throw, and the tiara was caught by the little girl who had co over for cake.

"You’re so young; it’s too early for you to get married! Let your Sister have it. If Sister doesn’t get married soon, she’ll beco an old maid. Curly, be good, give it to ..." Leanne coaxed.

"No!"

Once sothing fell into Curly’s hands, getting it back was no easy task. Neither Sienna nor Adrian had ever succeeded in retrieving anything from her.

Curly, that little imp, was very protective of her things. Whenever she had free ti, she would count her treasures. If even one was missing, that little terror would throw a fit.
