Everyone looked at Adrian Desmond in surprise. Dan Taylor, still hugging the beautiful woman in his arms and unwilling to let go, asked, "We usually bring beautiful won to accompany us when we co here. What’s going on today?"
"Adrian, you’re the Boss here. You can’t be this stingy, can you?"
"I brought my wife here, and you guys are hiring escorts? What does that an? How can these lowly won be on par with my wife?" Adrian said unhappily.
The crowd understood Adrian’s aning and looked at Sienna Johnson with even greater curiosity. What was so special about this woman that she could captivate Adrian so completely?
After the accompanying beauties were escorted away, the Private Room quieted down.
Sienna calmly sat beside Adrian, looking as stunning as a painting. She sipped her juice and ate snacks, completely ignoring the curious gazes of the n in the room. Her composure was impressive.
Mark asked, "Are all you Orientan won so formidable? If a husband cheats, would you just castrate him?"
Sienna nearly choked on her juice. "Who said that?"
"I saw it in the news!"
"That’s all fake!" Sienna explained.
Ward Penney also chid in, "You Orientan won are too fierce, not gentle enough, not good..."
They complained about fierceness and lack of gentleness, all because Orientan won wouldn’t allow n to have multiple wives, thereby infringing on what these n considered their interests.
Hypocrites! Shaless!
Mark added, "If you won’t let Adrian marry other won, do you think you alone can satisfy him?"
Sienna turned her head, smiling as she asked, "Sixth Master, they’re asking if I can satisfy you. What do you think? Can I?"
Though she was laughing, her eyes held a hidden barb. Adrian sensed a wave of killing intent.
Sienna continued, "Or perhaps, you’d like to learn from the other n in Abyanabad and take a few more wives? Hmm?"
"Of course, I’m satisfied! My wife is beautiful, buxom, with long legs, and great in bed..." Adrian declared, then trailed off. And tight enough down there too; every ti he entered, he almost lost control.
"What are you babbling about?" Sienna shot back.
Sienna glanced at the n in the room; their expressions were priceless. She glared at the man beside her for his loose tongue. How could he say such things, completely disregarding the setting?
"Sister-in-law, how did you two et?" Mark asked curiously.
Mark had been abroad for years. He was curious about Adrian and Sienna’s story but didn’t know the details. He knew Adrian well: a cold man. He also knew Adrian had a fiancée chosen for him since childhood and had never shown interest in other won. Later, when Mark returned to Orienta, he heard that Adrian had fallen in love with a woman who then ran off with his son on their wedding day. His interest was instantly piqued. What kind of woman could do such a thing?
"I was set up by soone and fell into the sea. Sixth Master saved ," Sienna said simply.
Mark’s eyes lit up with excitent. "So, it was a hero saving a beauty, huh!"
"So, did you fall in love with Adrian at first sight because he saved you and you saw how handso he was?"
Sienna smiled. "Am I that superficial of a woman?"
"Then your love grew over ti?"
"Sothing like that," Sienna replied.
"Then who pursued whom first?"
Sienna looked at Adrian, letting him answer. Adrian, however, pressed his lips together and remained silent.
"Mark, you ask so many questions. Anyone would think you’re a gossip reporter for an entertainnt magazine," Trevor Harrington remarked.
Trevor Harrington poured Adrian a glass of whiskey. The two clinked their glasses and drank.
"I’m just curious, you know? Who would’ve thought a woman could actually conquer Adrian! It’s unbelievable."
"What’s so strange about that? Every man is destined to fall for a woman’s charms eventually."
After Sienna’s "interrogation," the n’s intense interest in her finally subsided. They chatted and drank while Sienna quietly ate her food.
After a few rounds of drinks, the atmosphere in the room grew lively.
"Sienna, did you know? I’ve known Adrian all my life," Mark said. "He was so chubby when he was little, fatter than a pig! No one wanted to play with him back then; I was the only good soul who’d play with him..."
Mark was a natural at getting familiar quickly. After just a few exchanges, he was already calling Sienna by her nickna. Everyone else broke into a cold sweat for him. What a fool with guts! How dare he casually call the Sixth Master’s wife by her nickna?
Sienna asked Adrian, "You were chubby when you were young?"
Sienna examined the now rather lean Adrian, trying to picture a chubby version of him, but she couldn’t quite conjure the image.
"Of course!" Mark exclaid. "Guys, isn’t that right?"
No one answered!
If he wanted to dig his own grave, he could do it alone; they weren’t going down with him.
"He’s always spouting nonsense. If you believe a word he says, you’d be a fool," Adrian said coolly.
"Actually," Sienna said, "I think you would have been quite cute if you were a little chubby back then."
"You should believe that I was handso even as a child," Adrian said with a touch of narcissism.
"No matter how handso you were, you couldn’t compete with ," Mark retorted. "Sienna, in our class of twenty girls, eleven of them liked . Every Valentine’s Day, I received more chocolates than he did too!"
"Honey," Adrian said to Sienna, "the steak here is pretty good. You haven’t eaten much today; would you like to try so? I specially ordered it for you, so eat a bit more. Watch out for Mark, though. He’s always been like this—when it cos to food, he gets so possessive he wouldn’t recognize his own mother, and he’s fiercer than a dog when snatching it!"
"Adrian, who are you calling a dog?" Mark demanded.
"It’s called a figure of speech, a taphor. Get it?" Adrian replied.
"I don’t get it! All I know is you’re insulting !"
"So what if I insulted you? What are you going to do about it? Want to go one-on-one with ?" Adrian looked at the effeminate-looking Mark with disdain, clearly not taking him seriously.
If Mark dared to challenge him, Adrian could drag him outside right now and teach him a harsh lesson.
Sienna, Sienna... Who did Mark think he was, calling her that so familiarly?
Alcohol might give one courage, but no matter how much Mark drank, it was useless against the arrogant and overwhelmingly powerful Adrian.
Who could he bla? Adrian’s fists were just too hard; he couldn’t win a fight against him.
Adrian’s glare just now was clearly a threat. If he actually took up the challenge, wouldn’t Adrian deal with him harshly?
He wasn’t a fool.
"Sienna, you have to stand up for ! He just scolded , threatened , and even called a dog..." Mark looked at Sienna, his expression as pitiful as a kicked puppy’s.
Sienna lowered her head and continued to eat her al quietly.
You two go ahead and play; just pretend I’m not here.
"Sister-in-law, say sothing, will you?" Mark pleaded.
Sienna felt this had nothing to do with her. She just focused on eating quietly, occasionally enjoying the spectacle of Adrian and Mark’s epic frenemy showdown.
"If you don’t shut your mouth right now, Mark, no one will be able to save you!" Adrian warned.
