Sienna was carried out. Selena sobbed loudly when she saw Sienna, barely alive. "Mai..."
Mai’s body was covered in injuries—snake bites. Sienna herself seed vacant, her eyes empty, as if staring at sothing yet seeing nothing at all. Not only Selena, but others could also tell that sothing was ntally wrong with Sienna.

Selena stayed by Sienna’s side, asking anxiously, "Dr. Hyder, how is Mai? Is she okay? Please, you have to cure her."
Dr. Hyder looked at Sienna and shook his head. "They’re just superficial injuries. She’ll recover with proper care. However, her ntal state is extrely poor. It’s best to find a neurologist to see her." Dr. Hyder didn’t say it explicitly, but Sienna’s ntal health was definitely compromised; the only question was to what extent.

Selena’s eyes were swollen like walnuts from crying, tears still streaming down her face. If this were before, Sienna would have teased her for crying so much, but the current Sienna just stared blankly, unresponsive to the world.

Just then, lanie Carpenter knocked on the study door and entered. The mont she opened it, the thick smoke in the room made her choke and cough.

The people on the island were under Adrian’s command; lanie couldn’t order them. She had no choice but to seek Adrian’s help. Moreover, the island was quite secluded, and Adrian usually didn’t allow unauthorized people to co ashore.
