Adrian finished the call and handed the phone back to Paige, staring at her as if she had stolen his woman.
"Paige, you’re my only sister. I never expected you to join them in deceiving ," Adrian said coldly, looking at his sister.

"In this world, even you have started to lie to . Who else can I trust?"
Adrian’s voice was filled with deep disappointnt in Paige. She shouldn’t have conspired with others to deceive him, even if it was a well-intentioned lie.
Moreover, this lie was not well-intentioned at all.

Adrian had never thought highly of Kiya, and his opinion of him had only declined.

Though she no longer had a husband, she had her son, and sister-in-law was a magnanimous woman who never made things difficult for soone like her who stayed with family often.

Brandon was doing a mud bath when Adrian called, urgently asking her to co over.

Brandon calmly took a few tissues from the table and wiped the mud from her face, revealing her tanned skin.

Paige could hardly imagine how she managed to co to the hospital with a face full of mud.

"I want everyone around replaced! You’re in charge!" Adrian ordered Brandon.
Brandon didn’t question Adrian’s reasoning, only asked, "Everyone?"
"Yes!"
In a businesslike tone, Brandon stated, "Sixth Master, the people around you have been with you for many years. Let’s not talk about capability, but in terms of synergy, newcors can’t compare. Are you sure you want to replace them?"
"Synergy can be developed over ti, and they must be capable, but above all, loyal!"
Adrian no longer wanted subordinates who were arrogant and deceiving.
