Outside, it was still raining heavily. The rain quickly ford small streams on the ground, and even inside the tent, water was accumulating. If this continued, their living area would be flooded.

Inside the tent, Adrian Desmond’s chest started to ache again, probably because the wound had reopened. He lay on a folding bed, listening to the relentless rain outside, feeling more depressed than the gloomy weather.
The phone call earlier, he thought it was from Sienna Johnson, but in the end, it was just false hope.
Brandon Potter, worried about Adrian, brought Dr. Blake along, "Sixth Master, I’ve brought Dr. Blake. Can we co in now?"
"Co in!" Adrian didn’t dare to pretend to be tough either.
The door curtain was lifted, and out of the corner of his eye, Adrian saw the n doing push-ups outside. He curved his lips into a smile; indeed, they were much more obedient now.
"Sixth Master, are you alright?"
"Isn’t it that Barnes Smythe kid who was in trouble? Is he dead yet?"
Dr. Blake said, "We’ll know by tomorrow morning."
Wearing black clothes made it hard to see if he was bleeding, but when Dr. Blake lifted Adrian’s clothing, he saw the wound had indeed reopened.
Dr. Blake frowned and said, "Sixth Master, if you continue to be so reckless, don’t expect this wound to heal."
"Isn’t Dr. Blake known for his excellent dical skills? I trust Dr. Blake’s skills!"
"No matter how good the skills are, they can’t withstand you tornting yourself like this."
Dr. Blake conducted another examination on Adrian and, finding no internal bleeding, finally breathed a sigh of relief. He re-bandaged Adrian’s wound and gave a few nagging reminders, to which Adrian only responded perfunctorily, before Dr. Blake left with his dical kit.
Brandon Potter looked at Adrian and couldn’t help but say, "Sixth Master, you shouldn’t have bothered with Barnes Smythe and the others today."
"If I didn’t set an example today, how would they truly follow ... that Barnes, he’s too arrogant."
"Indeed, but Barnes is the most well-rounded one in all aspects."
Adrian sneered, "The base should change personnel; the people it has trained over the years are getting worse, each one less capable than the last."
Brandon Potter said, "Sixth Master, the base shouldn’t beco like Death Island, a place devoid of humanity, and you shouldn’t beco like Night Owl."

"Of course, I also believe that Sixth Master would never beco like Night Owl." Brandon, seeing Adrian’s icy expression, dared not speak too harshly.

Adrian laughed, "A good man? Are you joking?"

Brandon Potter, watching Adrian’s reaction, realized he was jealous. Indeed, when a man encounters love, his intelligence can drastically drop.
"Sixth Master, I heard Madam is an extrely intelligent woman; is it possible she’s just playacting with Xavier Young?"
"That’s exactly sothing she would do..."
For achieving her goals, Sienna would do anything. Back then, even when she didn’t like him, she still entangled with him until he let his guard down, and then she ran away.
So is Sienna Johnson just putting on an act with Xavier Young?
"I believe Madam couldn’t possibly be with Xavier Young. Maybe she’s just deceiving him. According to what Brett Jacobs said earlier, at least Xavier Young is now completely wrapped around her finger."
