"You..." Adrian Desmond was rendered speechless by her words.
Adrian Desmond found that Sienna Johnson always had the ability to make him irritable, lose his rationality, and feel angry. "Mai, shut up! If you don’t shut up, I can’t guarantee I won’t strangle you!"
Sienna Johnson was standing barefoot on the chair, hugging her knees. She was so thin and small that Adrian Desmond could almost enclose her in his arms with one arm.

"I’m pregnant. I can’t serve you anymore. Can Miss Carpenter serve you instead? I want to go back." She buried her head between her knees and said in a muffled voice.
He recalled what she had said earlier at Maxwell Bradford’s place—that she never wanted to see him again. Those were her true feelings! She genuinely didn’t want to see him anymore!
"Are you that eager to get rid of ?" Adrian Desmond’s voice suddenly turned as cold as iron.
"Adrian, one day, when I no longer love you, I won’t care if there’s a Miss Carpenter, a Miss Wang, or a Miss Li by your side..."
Because she loved him, she cared. Because she cared, she couldn’t tolerate it. Adrian Desmond would never understand such emotions from her.

Although Sienna Johnson didn’t know the exact value of Adrian Desmond’s trading fleet, seeing the surprise and anger on Walter Klein’s face today, she knew it was definitely not a small sum.

"I like you, and I won’t let you go. Besides..." Adrian Desmond’s gaze paused on Sienna Johnson’s abdon. She was curled up, so he couldn’t see her stomach clearly, but he spotted a dark stain on the black leather chair.
It was the scent of blood!
"Are you hurt?" Adrian Desmond picked Sienna Johnson up and looked closely. It was indeed blood. "Why are you bleeding? Where are you injured?"
Sienna Johnson only felt a slight pain in her lower abdon. "I’m fine, just a little tired. I want to sleep." After saying this, she struggled to get out of Adrian Desmond’s embrace, but he wouldn’t let her.
"To the hospital!" Adrian Desmond ordered Walter Klein, who was driving.
Walter Klein glanced in the rearview mirror, a confused expression on his face, but he still obeyed the order and drove the car to the hospital.
"Adrian, my stomach hurts."

"Is it the baby... Is your pregnancy threatened?"
After Sienna Johnson beca pregnant, Adrian Desmond had bought a pile of books about pregnancy. His theoretical knowledge was almost on par with an Obstetrician and Gynecologist. Although he didn’t know exactly what was wrong with Sienna, he knew that bleeding during pregnancy was definitely not a good sign.
"I don’t know..." Sienna Johnson shook her head, but she had a bad feeling. The baby in her womb was less than three months old and couldn’t withstand much jolting or agitation; tonight had been too terrifying.

"Adrian, I... I think... my stomach really, really hurts." As the pain in her lower abdon intensified, Sienna Johnson also sensed that sothing was seriously wrong.
"To the hospital!" Adrian Desmond instructed Walter Klein.
"Yes." Walter Klein understood the gravity of the situation. Setting aside his prejudice against Sienna Johnson, he made a sharp U-turn and sped towards the nearest hospital.
「Early morning, the sky was just beginning to lighten.」 Most people were still asleep, and there were very few vehicles on the road, only a few sanitation workers at the curbside. Walter Klein drove at top speed; a journey that normally took more than ten minutes, he completed in less than ten.

The doctor glanced at the person inside the car and was imdiately intimidated by Adrian Desmond’s fierce gaze, swallowing the words that were on the tip of his tongue.
Adrian Desmond got out of the car with Sienna in his arms and said, "My wife is experiencing complications with her pregnancy, and she’s bleeding. She keeps saying her stomach hurts."
The doctor on duty happened to be an Obstetrician and Gynecologist. After assessing Sienna Johnson’s condition, he knew it was critical and had no ti to argue about them driving into the hospital.
A nurse had already wheeled over a gurney, and Adrian Desmond placed Sienna Johnson on it. Sienna curled up her body. Initially, the pain had been mild, but now it had magnified and intensified. Sienna was in so much agony that she bit through her own lip.
"Adrian, our child will be okay, right?"
Compared to the physical agony, the fear of losing the baby was far more terrifying. It hadn’t seed so severe just monts ago, but now her skirt was stained red. Even though Sienna Johnson wasn’t an Obstetrician and Gynecologist, she knew her current situation was critical.
"It’ll be fine, it’ll be fine..." Adrian Desmond’s words clearly lacked conviction.
Hearing the lack of conviction in his tone, Sienna panicked. "Adrian, if anything happens to my baby, I don’t want to live anymore either!"
"What nonsense are you talking about?"
"I’m not talking nonsense! I want this child! If this child is gone, I don’t want to live anymore either!" Sienna’s hand, resting on her lower abdon, trembled. The re thought of losing this child was unbearable to her.
"I promise you, the child will be fine."
Adrian Desmond’s panic subsided in the face of Sienna’s desperate words. "Walter, go! Get all the best Obstetricians and Gynecologists here for !"
"Sixth Master, the best Obstetrician and Gynecologist is already at our ho."
Adrian Desmond had hired a doctor for Sienna as soon as he found out she was pregnant. It was only after Walter’s reminder that he rembered. "Quick! Get Dr. Thompson over here imdiately!"
"Yes."
As a nurse was about to push Sienna into the operating room, Sienna clutched Adrian Desmond’s hand tightly, her tear-filled eyes pleading, "Adrian, promise our baby will be okay?"
"Okay, I promise you!"
Adrian Desmond kissed her forehead, and Sienna finally released his hand. He watched as the nurse pushed her into the operating room. He froze for a mont, then rushed after her, only to be shut out by the operating room doors.
