The scar-faced man looked appreciatively at Jenny and said, "You really are fearless!"
Jenny smiled charmingly and said, "I’m just trying to impress Brother Blade. Compared to you, what do my guts amount to? I’m just desperate and taking a risk. Brother Blade truly has guts and courage!

A few people hit it off and began their malevolent sche.
When Adrian Desmond heard the news, he didn’t know what to say. Soone dared to kidnap his daughter? Are they tired of living?
Curly was playing with her box of jewels when she heard the report from Marion and said, "Only 1.5 million? Ha, I’m not that cheap."
"Yeah, they’re asking too little."
Adrian glanced at his daughter and thought those people really didn’t know how to value things. They underestimated his precious daughter’s worth.
Just the box of jewels in front of Curly was worth at least 45 million, yet those people only wanted 1.5 million.
Adrian felt his precious daughter was insulted.

Sienna walked in, and the group stopped talking as soon as she arrived.

Adrian stood up, walked to Sienna’s side, took her hand, and helped her sit on a chair, thoughtfully placing a cushion behind her.
"I was bored being alone, so I ca over."
Adrian, with one hand on the chair’s armrest, leaned towards Sienna, smiling, "Is this a case of absence making the heart grow fonder? Mrs. Desmond loves this much."

"You acting like this is making feel pressured."
Sienna glared at him, "Who said I ca to see you? I ca to see Curly. Don’t flatter yourself."
"So, I’m basking in daughter’s affection?"
"Of course."
Seeing her mother, Curly quickly locked up her jewelry box, afraid Sienna would take it away.
Her mom was more of a miser than she was, anything good she had was taken by her mom under the guise of safekeeping.
After keeping it ’safe’, the stuff just ended up as her mom’s.
"You two are so pretentious, wanting to see each other but not admitting it and using as an excuse," Curly said.
"Dear, give your mom so face, your mom’s thin-skinned," Adrian said softly to his daughter.
Curly got off the chair, carrying her jewelry box, and walked out, "You two continue your lovey-dovey monts; I won’t be the third wheel."
"It’s so hot outside; where are you going?" Sienna asked.
"I’m going to play with Kiki."
"Kiki is about to give birth, don’t go crashing into her. Got it?"
Holding onto the door, Curly revealed her little head and made a face at Sienna, "Hmph, I’m not listening to you."
Adrian also advised, "Curly, don’t run around lately, okay?"
"Got it, got it. Everyone’s so naggy."
Knowing soone was planning to kidnap Curly, Adrian, although not worried about those puny crooks, didn’t want Curly to take risks.
"Marion, stay with her recently and don’t let her run around," Adrian said seriously.
Marion agreed and then followed Curly out.
