"Are you saying that my son is not as good as a cat?" Sienna Johnson retorted.
A mysterious sense of hostility filled the air. Adrian Desmond turned his head and saw Sienna Johnson’s gloomy face, imdiately realizing he had misspoken.
Adrian tried to and his words, "No, no. Snowy can’t compare to our son."
"Try saying my son is ugly again."
"Hehehe..."
"I just don’t get it. What’s so ugly about my son?"
The baby’s father disdained him for not being as pretty as a Persian cat, and his sister went even further, wanting to throw him away.
"Hehehe..."
"Stop with the hehehe, I know what you’re thinking. Babies aren’t that good-looking when they’re born; they get better-looking as they grow."
"I don’t think it’s a big deal for boys to be a bit on the ugly side. Isn’t it Curly? Because the son is ugly, Curly doesn’t like him," Adrian explained.
"Then we don’t need to worry about their sibling relationship."
"Why?"
"Because my son will beco more and more handso."
Adrian thought: Where does this confidence co from?
"Mom, the Little Monster has finished his bath."
Curly pushed the stroller into the ward. The nurse, having ensured a safe delivery, reminded them of so points to take care of newborns before leaving.
"Curly did very well today; she is a competent good sister!" Sienna Johnson patted Curly’s head, praising her.
Curly smiled sheepishly, "Actually, it’s simple. I just had to push him there, and the nurse bathed Little Monster while I waited outside."
"So Curly, can you help mom take your brother for a bath again the day after tomorrow?"
"No problem."
Adrian and Sienna exchanged a glance; Adrian smiled appreciatively at Sienna and, while their daughter played with her brother, whispered,
"You really have a way."
"This is not a big deal. You’re just overly anxious."
"I was genuinely afraid your daughter would make choose between them."
Sienna looked at her daughter. Curly was at an age between being understanding and not, and many things required gentle guidance from adults.
"Isn’t it your fault for spoiling her?" Sienna said angrily.
Originally, Curly had a good nature, but now she’s beco like this, and Adrian, as the father, definitely bears the main responsibility.
"All right, I’ll go buy so books on education and study them well," Adrian said.
...
A week later, Sienna Johnson was discharged from the hospital.
Adrian had heard that won in Orienta take postpartum confinent very seriously and was worried that her recovery wouldn’t be good if she left early. He urged Sienna to stay for the full month, but she insisted on leaving the hospital.
No matter how good the conditions at Matilda Hospital were, it wasn’t as comfortable as ho.
Adrian, concerned, hired an experienced doctor and two nurses at a high price from Matilda Hospital to care for her.
Now the whole family revolved around the little baby.
Sienna was most anxious about naming her son because he was already responding to the na Little Monster.
"Leon!"
"Might as well call him Traitor then."
"Claire sounds pretty good."
"No, the na is too grand. The child is too weak; I’m afraid it won’t suit him."
"This isn’t okay, that isn’t okay, what kind of na do you actually want for your son?"
The whole family racked their brains for dozens of nas, all vetoed by Sienna Johnson.
At this mont, Sienna was holding a Comprehensive Dictionary, trying to co up with a na for her son. With so many characters, not a single one caught her eye.
"I just want to co up with a fitting and aningful na, but I’m never satisfied," Sienna said, troubled.
"Was it this difficult to na Curly? Jayce isn’t that great a na; it sounds like a boy’s na," Adrian said.
"No. Naming Curly wasn’t such a hassle for . I was so busy back then that I barely had ti to sleep myself, unlike now..."
Adrian finally understood, "So you’re bored with too much free ti?"
Curly returned from school, with George following behind.
George’s grandfather had been hospitalized for a long ti, and the Hunter Family had basically left George at the Johnson Family’s house.
Had the Hunter Family not had just one child, Sienna Johnson would have wondered if they had abandoned George.
Curly had to go to school during the day, and George followed along. Now George was a temporary student in the sa kindergarten, in the sa class as Curly.
The two went everywhere together now, and their relationship had improved quite a bit.
"Little Monster, Sister’s back." They hadn’t even co in before you could hear Curly’s call.
The baby turned his head upon hearing the call. Sienna Johnson held her forehead and said, "Looks like we’ve got to co up with a na quickly."
