Nervous tension drenched Sienna Johnson’s back in sweat. She constantly felt Adrian Desmond was chasing her, ready to drag her back, lock her in a gilded cage, and let her slowly suffocate.
"’Mai, are you tired? Do you want to take a break?’ Kiki asked, noticing Sienna was drenched in sweat."
"’I’m fine. Let’s keep going,’ Sienna replied."
Although pregnant, Sienna Johnson’s pregnancy was stable. She had maintained a routine of moderate daily exercise, so this short journey didn’t exhaust her; she was rely nervous.
"’I’ve arranged everything. We can definitely get out. Don’t be nervous,’ Lucas said, noticing Sienna’s anxiety and fear, trying to reassure her."
Sienna Johnson smiled. "Yes, I’ve witnessed Mr. Lucas’s capabilities. With you leading the way, Mr. Lucas, I’m sure I can get ho."
"’Just call Lucas.’"
"’Okay, Lucas,’ Sienna readily agreed."
The pitch-dark tunnel seed endless. Finally, when exhaustion began to take its toll, Sienna panted, "How much longer?"
"’Half an hour.’"
"’How long is this tunnel?’"
"’Almost a kiloter.’"
Sienna Johnson truly admired Adrian Desmond’s ancestors. Were they a clan of rats or sothing, to dig such a long tunnel?
Lucas suggested a break, but Sienna Johnson refused. Just as they were on the brink of collapse, they finally erged from the Desmond family’s secret tunnel.
This was the National Forest of Abyanabad. Towering trees blocked the sunlight, and the ground was carpeted with countless layers of dry, fallen leaves.
The air was much fresher. Sienna Johnson took several deep breaths, expelling the stale air from her lungs.
"’What a wonderful place,’ Sienna said."
Lucas glanced at Sienna. "Don’t relax just yet. We haven’t completely escaped Adrian Desmond’s sphere of influence."
"’Understood.’"
"’Let outline our journey. Today, we’ll take a boat to Cagalanga. From Cagalanga, we’ll head to Sileria City...’"
"’I can’t go back like this,’ Sienna Johnson said suddenly, standing atop a high slope."
"’Why? Haven’t you always wanted to go ho?’ Kiki asked, puzzled."
"’I’m afraid Adrian Desmond will find my ho. If he ever discovers my true identity, I can never dream of escaping him again.’"
Sienna Johnson gently caressed her stomach. She was already four months pregnant and would give birth in another six months. "Moreover, returning ho pregnant would only bring trouble for my father."

Sienna Johnson’s heart filled with joy. "Sileria is an incredibly beautiful city. I’m sure you’ll both love it there."
Kiki and Lucas were essentially rootless people; it wouldn’t make much difference to them where they ended up.
"’Mai, if we’re not going back to Sileria now, where are we going?’"
"’My na is Sienna Johnson!’ Sienna declared, her gaze fixed on the lush greenery in the distance. Finally, she could shed the unpleasant na ’Mai’."

"’Yes, Sienna.’ Kiki said her na, finding it pleasant too."
Lucas interrupted them. "We’re still not safe. Abyanabad is Adrian Desmond’s territory. Moreover, he has significant influence throughout Southeast Agaia. We should leave imdiately."

Lucas was also undecided. "You decide. As long as we don’t stay in Southeast Agaia."

"’Why there?’ Kiki asked."

Adrian Desmond loved hunting. One of his houses was filled with his trophies: bears, deer, a falcon with a three-ter wingspan, tigers, and more. Of course, this wasn’t the primary reason. The main reason was that Adrian Desmond and a Bonracan mafia boss were enemies. This enemy held significant influence in Bonraca, so it would be perilous for Adrian Desmond to venture there.
Kiki was speechless.
Lucas was speechless.

It was already late evening, and the surroundings had dimd. Sienna Johnson had been holed up in her room all day. Mr. Lucas was still worried, so he ca to check.

Mr. Lucas knocked on the door. "Madam, it’s ti for dinner. What would you like to eat? I’ll have the kitchen prepare it."
There was still no response from inside. A flicker of unease crossed Mr. Lucas’s heart. He knocked harder, only to be t with Sienna Johnson’s roar from within, "Get lost! All of you, get lost!"
Although scolded, Mr. Lucas felt a sense of relief. As long as Sienna Johnson was in her room, he could give Adrian Desmond a satisfactory account.
