Before Yang Jiang could think about it any longer, a worried voice echoed from the other end of the line, “Is there something wrong?”
“Nothing. I must’ve misheard you, that’s all,” he quickly replied, relaxing.
Despite this, he quickly headed back to his desk and activated the software in his puter. His eyes were narrowed at the screen.
Before long, dozens of surveillance images popped up in front of him. He was sure that a person had entered his study, but why didn’t he see him?
He glanced at the surveillnce images before tapping at the one centered at his door. He played back the video to a couple of minutes ago.

However, all he could see were his two housekeepers passing by the corridor.
After the two housekeepers had passed, no one else had entered his screen.
Could they have made the noise?
Yang Jiang glanced at the camera positioned in his study and played back the tape. Despite this, he still didn’t see anything unusual. Was he just overthinking things?
However, after a few more minutes of looking, he immediately spotted Yang Nian entering the guest room with a girl in his arms.
Her arms were positioned around him so intimately. However, before he could take a closer look at the young woman, Yang Nian had already closed the door.
Yang Jiang scowled.
Yang Nian had always been such a well-taught man, being surrounded by the best they could offer. He was never the type to act irrationally, living ip to their family name.

Yang Jiang didn’t have any objections to Yang Nianhaving a girlfriend. Even if he had a couple of one-night-atands, he’d simply zip his mouth and nod along. After all, he was a man. He probably had his urges.
However, they had an important event today! They had absolutely no time to fool around, especially with so many eyes watching them.
His eyes narrowed at the screen. Yang Jiang had half his mind to stand up and drag him into his study when a voice sounded from the other end of the line.
“Since the Lin family is satisfied with the environment in City A, then let them dtay there. They don’t have to e back.”
Yang Jiang’s lips twitched into a mocking smile.
“The Lin family has a blueprint in their hands, right?” Yang Jing asked casually.
“What blueprint?”
“My ancestors had given the other half of the blueprint to the Lin Family before he passed.”
Apart from a few people around him, no one else knew that the head of the Yang family had e to City A.
Originally, he had wanted to get the blueprint and tell his family about it. What he didn’t expect was for the blueprint to be lost.
He even lost the appeal for it!
Thinking of this, he could feel his heart hurting even more. He rubbed his forehead in frustration.

The other person replied.
The blueprint was an heirloom passed down the Yang Family. Old Master Yang was the one in charge to safekeep it.

When the Yang Family and the Lin Family had decided to part ways, the other half of the blueprint was given to the Lin Family.
Besides, it was useless to keep it.
