Sumr Monroe instinctively held her breath, montarily forgetting to react, maintaining the position of being sat on by Damian Knight.
Damian Knight wasn’t in much better shape either, the sensation beneath his thin lips was smooth and warm, and all he could sll was the faint fragrance emanating from Sumr Monroe.
This scent was different from perfu, like the aroma of milk, or perhaps the most pleasant-slling flowers, making it hard for him to move away.
He felt his entire body stiffen, unable to move at all.
Yet, deep inside, he wanted to move everywhere.
The impulse belonging to a man spread like madness.
His breathing gradually grew heavy.
In the end, it was Sumr Monroe who was being pressed hard by Damian Knight and couldn’t breathe, finally coming to her senses. She reached out and pressed against Damian Knight’s chest, her face flushed as she said, "Get off..."
Damian Knight heard Sumr Monroe’s voice and quickly snapped out of his daze, swiftly getting off her.
He first straightened his own clothes, disguising the intense, fiery emotion in his eyes, then looked at Sumr Monroe with disdain and said, "If you fall, you fall. Why drag down with you? If I got injured, how would you compensate?"
Sumr Monroe initially felt a bit embarrassed and didn’t even dare to look Damian Knight in the eye.
Hearing Damian Knight’s words, she instantly glared at him angrily, gritting her teeth as she said, "Yes! It’s my fault, President Knight!"
Hmph, it wasn’t as if she did it on purpose, what’s he getting so angry for?
So irritable and ruthless, no wonder no girl likes him, ha, a lonely dog.
Damian Knight arrogantly raised his chin and said indifferently, "As long as you know you’re wrong. Next ti you fall, don’t drag with you."
"You—" Sumr Monroe was so angry she wanted to curse, her eyes widened, then she turned around in annoyance.
Forget it, out of sight, out of mind. She wouldn’t bother getting angry with such a strangely tempered man.
Damian Knight saw the back of Sumr Monroe’s clothing with its tail facing him, and the emotions he had just managed to suppress showed signs of resurgence.
"Damn it!" Damian Knight averted his gaze and cursed under his breath, annoyed as he asked, "What exactly are you doing kneeling on the floor?"
"Looking for the remote control..." Sumr Monroe blushed, reaching under the sofa.
But the remote had slipped too far in, and she couldn’t reach it no matter how she tried.
Just then, the sound from the TV abruptly stopped.
Sumr Monroe turned her head in surprise, only to see Damian Knight standing expressionlessly by the TV, holding its power cord.
She couldn’t believe she hadn’t thought of just pulling the power cord.
Sumr Monroe let out a frustrated sigh and stood up from the floor.
Damian Knight tossed aside the power cord, and casually threw his suit jacket toward Sumr Monroe.
Sumr Monroe quickly caught it, not refusing, using Damian Knight’s jacket to cover herself.
His jacket was large, covering down to Sumr Monroe’s thighs, making her look like a child wearing adult clothes.
Damian Knight pulled a cigarette from his pocket, lighting it, and took a deep drag before he felt calm again.
He walked to the window, pushing it open to let the smoke drift outside.
After a few puffs, he spoke with his back to Sumr Monroe, "Tell , what’s going on."
"Ahem..." Sumr Monroe coughed, trying to forget the little incident that just happened, and began to recount the whole story, finally saying, "I still want to have a DNA test."
After she finished speaking, Damian Knight had smoked an entire cigarette.
He turned back to look at Sumr Monroe, his eyes holding emotions that Sumr Monroe couldn’t decipher.
