She had little impression of her foster parents’ students because there were so many people. She didn’t know if they would recognize her.
Sumr Monroe was a bit worried.
Jason, wearing a mask, showed no expression. He reached out his hand to her and greeted her in English, "Hello, I’m Jason. Are you related to the patient?"
Sumr Monroe imdiately breathed a sigh of relief—he didn’t recognize her.
Just as she was about to speak, Isaac Ross interjected, "Miss Monroe, he’s greeting you. Do you understand English? If not, I can translate for you."
Growing up in the countryside, her English shouldn’t be that good, right?
However, the next mont, Sumr Monroe was communicating fluently with Jason in English.
The conversation even included words like "acupuncture and moxibustion" and "neurasthenia," terms that Isaac Ross didn’t understand.
For a mont, Isaac Ross was utterly bewildered.
Not only did Sumr Monroe understand English, but her proficiency surpassed even his, despite having an English tutor from a young age.
Isaac Ross felt a burning sensation of embarrassnt on his face.
While Isaac Ross was questioning reality, Damian Knight’s voice sounded in his ear, "Didn’t I tell you? Don’t underestimate won."
When a woman gets serious, let alone learning English, she could even perform surgery on her own face.
Moreover, he now didn’t believe Sumr Monroe grew up in the countryside at all.
Apart from the matter of revenge, she must be hiding sothing else.
Isaac Ross took a deep breath and adjusted his emotions.
Being proficient in English is nothing unusual; so people naturally have a talent for languages. Considering that Sumr Monroe’s biological mother was the renowned Mrs. Monroe from Crestfall, he soon beca accustod to her exemplary English.
Being good at English doesn’t equate to dical expertise.
Besides, she herself said she only understands a little about this. If she can’t cure him, Sumr Monroe will ultimately face embarrassnt.
Of course, Isaac Ross’s disdain wasn’t directed at Sumr Monroe specifically but towards traditional Chinese dicine.
His family, which flourished by running a Western hospital, inherently resisted Chinese dicine, doubly so for a pretty girl from the countryside like Sumr Monroe, lowering his trust in her dical skills to almost nothing.
anwhile, Sumr Monroe and Jason had already finished discussing the patient’s condition.
Jason took off his mask, and his gaze towards Sumr Monroe carried sothing unusual.
"Miss, haven’t we t sowhere before?" Jason suddenly switched to speaking Chinese.
Sumr Monroe glanced at Jason in surprise, realizing that he had spoken English earlier only to challenge her, knowing all along she wasn’t a relative.
But now with Jason switching to Chinese, it also indicated a change in his attitude towards her.
"This is our first eting," Sumr Monroe replied casually.
"I keep feeling like I’ve seen you sowhere before..."
Jason was trying hard to recall when Ryder Quinn nudged his elbow.
"Buddy, your pick-up line is outdated in our country. You should try sothing else. Oh wait, you’re not entirely out of the list yet."
Jason showed confusion, "Out of the list for what?"
Just as Ryder Quinn was about to speak, Isaac Ross interrupted, "You’ve been chatting for a while... Jason, what do you think of her traditional dicine approach? Isn’t it nonsense?"
Jason shook his head, puzzled, "I don’t know what nonsense ans, but I think the approach the lady suggested is worth trying."
"What approach?" Isaac Ross asked uncomfortably.
He couldn’t understand Sumr Monroe’s English, which made him feel sowhat awkward.
Jason pointed to the man still unconscious, "She suggested using traditional Chinese acupuncture therapy, combined with repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation..."
Isaac Ross couldn’t understand the latter part, and directly asked, "Can acupuncture alone cure ntal illnesses? Then why do we need so many Western dicines?"
