"Are you alright?" Damian Knight turned his eyes to ask Sumr Monroe.
Sumr Monroe shook her head, "I’m fine. Young Master Kingston, don’t hit the patient, he didn’t an it, it’s just that the aftereffects are severe, making him sensitive to the outside world."
"Hmm..."
Only then did Julian Kingston pull back the hand that Isaac Ross had grabbed, returning to his original position, but his eyes still remained fixed on the man in bed.
Isaac Ross pressed his temples with a headache, "Julian Kingston, you punk, hit him harder next ti. Kill him directly, so we won’t have to worry about whether we can cure this guy’s madness."
Julian Kingston felt sowhat guilty, cleared his throat, glanced at Damian Knight and Sumr Monroe standing side by side, and felt inexplicably irritable inside.
Even though he knew Damian Knight was treating Sumr Monroe differently because she had saved him, he just couldn’t shake off the discomfort he felt.
Not long after, Jason returned carrying a box.
Jason didn’t know what had happened earlier; as soon as he entered, he saw the patient lying there with a bleeding nose, unsure whether dead or alive, and was startled to ask, "W-What’s going on?"
Everyone’s gaze involuntarily fell on Julian Kingston.
Julian Kingston couldn’t bear it anymore and said, "I’m going out to get so air."
After saying that, he turned and walked out.
Jason looked a bit baffled and conducted an examination with Sumr Monroe on the patient.
"Is he going to be okay?" Isaac Ross asked with a frown.
Jason shook his head and said, "No major issues, it’s just that he can’t suffer such injuries again; that’ll only worsen his condition. PTSD patients are already ntally fragile; I’m not sure if he can withstand the pressure again."
"Hmm, I’ll try," Sumr Monroe said as she opened the box Jason had brought.
Upon inspection, she found various acupuncture needles, everything she needed was there.
Jason looked to Sumr Monroe and asked, "Are these the right ones?"
"Yes," Sumr Monroe nodded. "I’ll start now. It’s just right he’s in a sleep state; if he were awake, he wouldn’t be able to undergo acupuncture."
"Please go ahead." Unconsciously, Jason used honorifics.
Before starting, Sumr Monroe reminded Isaac Ross, "Please go for the DNA test. I’ll try my best to give you a satisfactory outco here."
"Got it." Isaac Ross responded, took a couple of hair strands, and turned to leave.
Not forgetting to remind Jason before leaving, "Keep an eye on her, just playing house is fine, don’t cause a ss."
Jason bowed and replied, "Don’t worry, nothing will go wrong here."
Only then did Isaac Ross turn and leave.
The door of the hospital room was closed.
Sumr Monroe took out an electric needle to perform head acupuncture first.
"Is she going to use head needles?" Jason said nervously, "Head needles are very dangerous, are you sure you can do it?"
Sumr Monroe’s distinct black and white pupils moved slightly, then she calmly gripped the needle tightly, expertly inserting it into the Baihui, Sishencong, Shenting, and Fengchi acupuncture points on the head.
Ryder Quinn, watching from the side, was stunned; he was sure, if Isaac Ross were here, he’d probably be scared to death.
Because even he began to worry that the man might die at Sumr Monroe’s hands.
He couldn’t help but walk over to Damian Knight’s side and whisper, "These needles in the head... won’t kill him, right?"
Damian Knight glanced at Ryder Quinn, gesturing with his eyes for him to be quiet, then focused intensely on Sumr Monroe as she administered the needles.
After the head acupuncture, Sumr Monroe’s smooth forehead was already perspiring.
Most market-available acupuncture treats symptoms but not causes, leaving the practitioner unaffected.
However, real Ancient Chinese dicine acupuncture, while fast and effective, can easily drain the practitioner’s energy.
After four needles, Sumr Monroe’s face had turned pale, devoid of any color.
