"Sumr Monroe! Are you crazy?! Do you have a death wish?"
Behind the door, Damian Knight was pounding on it forcefully.
"You leave now! I’ll grab what I need and co down. Don’t worry, I promised you, I won’t die here!"
After she spoke, she ignored Damian Knight’s shouting and turned to run up the stairs.
Smoke was billowing inside the building.
Soon enough, the firefighters and police finally arrived.
Damian Knight was found by the firefighters.
"Sir, the building might explode again. Please leave with us imdiately!"
Damian Knight imdiately refused: "No way! My friend is still upstairs!"
The firefighter’s eyes widened in disbelief: "What? There are still people inside?"
Just then, another firefighter rushed up the hallway: "Captain, bad news! They said there’s a group of children on the top floor."
"What?!" The police officer addressed as Captain quickly donned his helt and said to Damian Knight: "Sir, please leave with them. I’ll go up and bring your friend down."
"I’m going with you, let’s get that door open first!"
"Sir, going upstairs with us is too dangerous... soone take him away!"
A few team mbers imdiately grabbed Damian Knight and started pulling him outside.
And at that mont, the fourth explosion occurred.
A loud boom echoed, causing the entire building to shake.
"Captain, the building might collapse, and it’s uncertain if there will be another explosion... should we retreat for now?"
Upon hearing this, the fire captain hesitated.

Outside the building.
The female employees with children thought the kids had already been taken out by the person responsible for watching them.
Upon inquiry, they found out the employee hadn’t cared for the children, and in a furious shock, they turned around to head back to the office building.
But before they reached the entrance, they were stopped by firefighters.
"The building is going to collapse, you can’t go up!"
"Let us in! Our children are still upstairs... please."
"Save our children, I can’t lose her, boohoo..."
"Get out of the way! Let in!"
The crying and shouting all mixed together, creating utter chaos at the scene.

On the top floor of the office building.
When Sumr Monroe reached the top floor, she was already struggling to breathe.
The air was filled with smoke, and oxygen levels were extrely low.
Sumr tore a piece of cloth from her clothing, found a bottle of mineral water to dampen it, and crouched down as she headed towards the CEO’s office.
Halfway there, she suddenly heard gut-wrenching cries.
Sumr’s steps froze instantly.
Crying?
Are there still people on the top floor? Didn’t everyone leave?
She thought she had misheard, but after listening carefully, she realized the crying was real, and it wasn’t just one person crying.
What’s going on?
Sumr imdiately followed the sound of the crying, eventually stopping at the children’s lounge.
She opened the door, shocked to see a room full of children still there, while the employee responsible for looking after them was nowhere to be seen.
"Damn it!" Sumr cursed through gritted teeth.
That person’s usual lack of care for the kids was one thing, but with building explosions, not taking the children along was downright inhuman, worse than an animal!
But now was not the ti to curse that person.
Sumr quickly walked inside and said to the slightly older children, "Kids, lead the others downstairs quickly. There’s a fire, and you can’t stay here anymore."
The child sobbed and said, "Mommy, I want mommy..."
