The assistant whimpered a couple of tis with grievance, then started worrying about Damian Knight: "How is Young Master Knight doing? Why hasn’t he co out yet..."
Sumr Monroe looked at the towering flas engulfing the building and hurriedly grabbed the fire captain, anxiously asking, "How much longer can the building hold out?"
The fire captain shook his head: "Given the tilt, less than half a minute. We can’t go in anymore, your friend... he can only rely on himself..."
Sumr Monroe suddenly beca anxious: "If you won’t go in, then I’ll go in myself!"
As she spoke, she lifted her foot and rushed towards the building.
However, she had barely run a ter before the fire captain, with sharp reflexes, intercepted her by the waist.
"Miss! It’s about to collapse, going in would be asking for death! Calm down!"
"Let go! I have to go in! He must be in trouble!"
"Calm yourself!" The fire captain held Sumr Monroe’s waist tightly while glancing at the building that was about to collapse.

Sumr Monroe finally cald down; in her current physical state, rushing in would indeed be seeking death.

"Got it!" The fire captain stepped towards the building.
However, he had only taken a few steps when a loud sound ca from the building, and the entire structure began to collapse!
The ground suddenly shook.
The fire captain imdiately stopped in his tracks and shouted, "Retreat! Everyone move back!"
Saying this, he grabbed the nearest Sumr Monroe and pulled her back.
"Boom——"
A series of huge sounds almost pierced the sky.
In a matter of seconds, all they could see was a sky full of dust, even the sun above was obscured by the dust, and the sky turned from a clear blue to a hazy gray.
Sumr Monroe, pulled by the fire captain, staggered and fell to the ground.
When she looked up again, all she could see was dust in the air, obscuring everything.
And the once towering building was now gone, leaving only a dust-covered ruin.
Sumr Monroe’s face turned pale, all color drained from her face.
Tears flowed uncontrollably down her cheeks——
"Damn it!" She punched the ground forcefully, crying out, "Damian Knight! You liar! You promised you wouldn’t die in there! You liar! Big liar! I’ll never trust you again!"
Just then, several sports cars pulled up behind her.
Isaac Ross’s voice ca from behind: "Miss Monroe! Where’s Young Master Knight?"
Sumr Monroe lifted her tear-streaked face and looked back.
She was sobbing, pointing towards the dust, "He, he died... sob... It’s all my fault! I should have gone with him to find that child, it’s all my fault!"
"Dead... dead?" Isaac Ross’s eyes widened in shock, shaking his head in disbelief, he laughed, "Miss Monroe, don’t joke with like this."
Sumr Monroe opened her mouth to speak, but all that ca out were sobs.
The blood on Isaac Ross’s face instantly drained away.
Not a joke...?
He stared blankly at the ruins.
At this mont, the dust over the ruins was finally being slowly blown away by the wind.
The dust and ash gradually dispersed, and the view over the ruins finally began to clear.
