Henry Stanton was agitated by Stella Monroe’s words.
No matter how you look at it, Sumr Monroe made him lose too many things. He couldn’t lose this cash cow, yet he couldn’t just drop it either. It was better to send Sumr to the temple to live.
Just as this thought took form, Henry Stanton saw a group of company employees walking toward him.
Henry Stanton imdiately swallowed hard.
They’re here to claim compensation! These useless money-losers!
Instinctively, Henry Stanton wanted to run, but the next mont he heard everyone speak: "Chairman, thank you!"
After all of them said thank you in unison, they bowed deeply to Henry Stanton.
Henry Stanton was suddenly filled with question marks.
Have these people lost their minds? Not only are they not claiming compensation, but they’re also thanking him?
Stella Monroe was also completely bewildered.

Only Sumr Monroe’s gaze remained indifferent, her eyes calm.
A group of employees chose a representative who stepped forward to Henry Stanton and said gratefully, "Chairman, you have a wonderful daughter. We are grateful to her, and grateful to you for bringing her into this world. From now on, I will work tirelessly for you!"
Henry Stanton looked puzzled at Sumr Monroe and asked that employee, "Why are you saying this? What do you an by that?"
The employee gave Sumr a surprised glance before saying, "It seems you don’t know, Chairman. When the explosion and fire occurred, it was the young lady who unlocked the door that trapped us."
Stella Monroe was dumbstruck.
Henry Stanton was also in shock. He turned and asked Sumr Monroe, "Did you, did you save them?"
Sumr Monroe nodded, "I just didn’t want to die in there, so I ran to the security room on the second floor and opened the main door."
"No! It’s more than that!"
The female employee who had previously accused Sumr squeezed out from the crowd, bringing her son forward and saying, "The young lady also risked her life to save all the children in the children’s lounge. She is my savior, my second parent!"
As she spoke, tears of repentance and gratitude stread down the female employee’s face.
Hearing this, Henry Stanton quickly asked, "How many casualties are there in the building?"
The employees vied with each other to speak: "None of us died."
"The fact that all of us ca out alive is because of the young lady!"
"From now on, our lives belong to the young lady and Stanton Group!"
"The young lady is truly a good person! Chairman, your daughter is exceptional!"
Henry Stanton was stunned for a mont, then burst into joy.
No lives were lost! He wouldn’t have to pay a di in compensation!
Henry Stanton excitedly hugged Sumr Monroe, saying, "Good daughter! You truly are my good daughter!"
"Dad, it’s what I should do," Sumr said sweetly.
Henry Stanton cherished Sumr Monroe even more.
This isn’t a harbinger of bad luck; this is a morning star!
After their thanks, the employees temporarily left, and Stella Monroe watched the scene of Sumr and Henry Stanton as a father-daughter duo with deathly envy.
She couldn’t believe Sumr had saved everyone in the building!
Now how could she continue to slander Sumr as a jinx, a curse?
While Stella Monroe was venomously cursing Sumr in her heart, she suddenly felt a piercing glare directed at her.
She looked up to see Henry Stanton glaring at her with angry dissatisfaction in his eyes.
Henry Stanton, always a fickle character, was now leaning toward Sumr, and of course, his anger hit her like a butt of a joke.
Stella Monroe felt a panic rise within her, instinctively took a step back, and nervously forced a smile, asking, "Hu-husband, why, why are you looking at like that?"
