But even after being bumped rather hard, she still managed to choose a relatively good spot, only smudging the cream edge of the cake and dirtying the hem of her dress instead of falling fully into the cake.
"Sumr! Are you okay?!" Coralie Hughes "concernedly" grabbed her hand.
The others also hurried up to offer condolences: "Doctor Monroe, did you get hurt?"
"Doctor Monroe, your clothes are dirty, shall I help you clean them?"
Coralie Hughes felt nauseated by the way these people were flattering.
She worked hard to squeeze out a guilty expression and said, "It’s all my fault, these shoes are new, a bit uncomfortable. Sumr, I’m sorry, I’ll take you upstairs to change into sothing clean and help you wash up."
Coralie Hughes’ "guilt" appeared impeccable and sincere.
Although the bystanders blad Coralie’s carelessness, no one suspected she did it deliberately.
Sumr Monroe t Coralie Hughes’ "sincere" eyes, smiled with curved lips, revealing a row of pearly white teeth.

Seeing Sumr’s smile, Coralie felt a chill down her back, as if she were standing in a draft, feeling chilly all over.
Did Sumr see through sothing?
Impossible! That fall was undoubtedly real, her ankle was still hurting painfully!
She must be overthinking things and seeing shadows in broad daylight.
Coralie shook off those strange feelings, gently leading Sumr upstairs with an expression that seed as if she wished she had fallen instead.
A minor accident, nobody paid it much mind, especially since Sumr hadn’t fallen directly onto the cake, rely soiling the skirt and her hair.
Sumr followed Coralie to the second floor.
Coralie opened the door to a room, saying: "This is a guest room, and there’s a bathroom inside, you can wash your hair. I’ll bring you clean clothes in a mont."
Sumr had no objections, nodding her head: "Okay."
Coralie smiled, turned around, and left the room, her hand pressing on the perfu in her bag just as the door closed, a cold smile playing on her lips.
Coralie hadn’t preemptively filled the room with the perfu, worried she would also sll it, and fearing the scent would dissipate by the ti Sumr entered.
So she planned to put the perfu inside when Sumr was in the bathroom, using the excuse of delivering clothes.
Coralie carefully pressed against the door, waiting to hear the sound of running water from inside.
This room had been carefully chosen by her, with poor soundproofing so she could clearly hear the movents within.
Soon enough, Coralie got her wish and heard the sound of water running from inside.
Sumr had started washing her hair!
She curved a satisfied smile and quickly left to get the clothes.
Before long, Coralie returned with the clothes, reaching to open the door.
However, the next instant as she opened the door, Coralie’s heart skipped a beat, and she was so startled that she dropped the clothes in her hand.
There stood Sumr, arms crossed, looking at her with a smile as if she’d been waiting there for a long ti.
How could Sumr be waiting outside for her?!
Does she know everything?
The sound of water still ca from the room.
Coralie instinctively glanced towards the bathroom, seeing the door wide open with the showerhead flowing.
Just when Coralie’s heart was in her throat, thinking Sumr already knew everything, she heard Sumr speak: "Coralie, what’s wrong? Did I scare you?"
"I..." Coralie’s throat felt as though soone was squeezing it.
She forced a smile, twitching her mouth, and asked: "Why... why are you still here? Weren’t you supposed to be... washing your hair? How co you’re standing at the door with the water running?"
In reality, she wanted to ask whether Sumr knew everything.
