Tears rolled down from Henry Stanton’s cloudy eyes.
It was truly a scene that would make anyone who saw it heartbroken and tearful.

The servants all advised Henry Stanton to restrain his grief, but only Sumr Monroe guessed Henry Stanton’s true thoughts —

After doing this, she walked back over to the weeping Henry Stanton, showing a sympathetic expression, and said, "Dad, I’m as sad as you are, but now is not the ti to grieve. I feel there might be sothing odd about my sister’s death; maybe we should call the police."
Clarissa Stanton’s unclear and untily death was not a good thing for her.
Because many people knew she and Clarissa Stanton weren’t on good terms, and who knows what rumors might spread about her.
She didn’t want Clarissa Stanton to drag her down, even in death.
She didn’t want to get involved in this muddled water.
However, Henry Stanton flatly refused, "This clearly looks like a suicide by wrist-cutting; why call the police? Do you want people gossiping about our family?!"
There was so logic to what Henry Stanton said, especially since Clarissa Stanton’s back bore the scars from Henry’s beatings; if the police ca, they might first investigate Henry Stanton.
Even if Henry Stanton cleared himself of involvent in Clarissa Stanton’s death, it would still lead to gossip.
Henry Stanton was very concerned about his reputation, and he certainly wouldn’t allow such a situation to happen.
Sumr Monroe shook her head internally; she anticipated this outco, which was why she secretly took the photos earlier.
But with Henry Stanton’s firm stance, Sumr couldn’t change his attitude, so she opted not to ntion calling the police anymore. Instead, she said, "We should at least properly arrange my sister’s funeral. As for Auntie..."
Henry Stanton stood up and said mournfully, "I’ll have soone bring her back for the funeral. To outsiders, we’ll just say Clarissa died of a sudden illness. You don’t need to worry about these things; if bad news spreads about our family, it won’t be good for your marriage into the Knight Family. Go to your room and rest; I’ll handle things here."
"Okay." Sumr Monroe nodded, with a hint of sarcasm in her heart.
Even at this mont, Henry Stanton was still thinking about her marrying into the Knight Family; a person truly beyond description.
She took one last look at Clarissa Stanton’s body, making sure she hadn’t missed any details, before turning back to her room.
But she didn’t forget to quietly summon Leah Lowell along.
Once the two were in the room, Sumr Monroe imdiately asked, "You were already there when I arrived; what was the situation then? Who was the first to find the body?"
Leah Lowell’s child, after so treatnt abroad, was much better now, and was expected to be able to return ho in less than a year.
Thus, she was incredibly loyal to Sumr Monroe and responded with complete honesty, "I’m responsible for cleaning. The servant who found the body first was also scheduled to clean with today. Since the master and you sotis return ho late, we’re afraid of making the floor too slippery from mopping, so we usually start cleaning around five in the morning."
