The next mont, Stella Monroe cried out, "I knew it! I knew you wouldn’t just leave your mother like that! I knew they were all lying to ! You scared your mother to death, do you know that?!"
As these words fell, Sumr Monroe’s confused gaze gradually turned into shock, and then transford into a deep calm.
She thought, her dicine couldn’t possibly be ineffective.
So it wasn’t that the dicine didn’t work, but that the most important person in Stella Monroe’s heart wasn’t Felix Jennings, but Clarissa Stanton.

At this mont, Sumr Monroe both pitied Stella Monroe and felt resentful towards her, filled with complex, indistinguishable emotions.
Henry Stanton spoke coldly, "Stella! Wake up! Clarissa is gone. She’s dead, she’s no longer here!"
"What kind of joke are you making?" Stella Monroe pointed at Sumr with a strange face and said to Henry Stanton, "Isn’t our Clarissa right here? Why are you joking with like this?"
Henry Stanton instinctively glanced in the direction of Sumr Monroe, thinking Stella Monroe might have seen a ghost. When he turned back and saw that Stella Monroe was pointing at Sumr, his expression darkened. He looked up at Quentin Jason and asked, "Dr. Jason, how has my wife’s condition gotten worse? This is a hallucination, can it still be treated?"
Quentin Jason cleared his throat, also unsure of what Sumr Monroe intended to do.
His eyes darted as he considered that Sumr might want Stella Monroe gone; he said, "I’ve already treated her using Hypnosis Therapy, and now it seems this thod has no effect on Mrs. Stanton."
Henry Stanton panicked.
If even Dr. Jason can’t cure it, who can?
Does it an he really has to endure the ridicule of having a wife who’s a madwoman?
No! Absolutely not! He’s already embarrassed enough today and doesn’t want more disgrace!
Henry Stanton, not caring that Damian Knight was still present, grabbed Jason directly, clutching him like a lifeline, and anxiously asked, "Dr. Jason, Dr. Jason, don’t you have any other way to cure her?"
Jason’s peripheral vision instinctively looked at Sumr Monroe.
Sumr Monroe almost imperceptibly shook her head, and Jason imdiately understood, adopting an expression of regret, saying, "Hypnosis was my most effective treatnt. I’m sorry, Mr. Stanton, I’m powerless now..."
Henry Stanton’s throat tightened, and with a dull expression, he took two steps back.
Sumr Monroe quickly stepped forward to support Henry Stanton, and said, "Dr. Jason no longer specializes in ntal illness, perhaps if you send Aunt to a professional place for systematic treatnt, she might get better soon."
Damian Knight tily interjected, "Yes, Dad, the Ross Psychiatric Hospital just opened a new ntal hospital, and I’ll get the best doctors to treat her."
"ntal hospital?" Stella Monroe asked incredulously, "Why send to a ntal hospital? I’m not sick, I don’t want to go there!"
Henry Stanton also hesitated a bit.
Sending Stella Monroe to a ntal hospital, wouldn’t that an admitting to everyone that Stella is a madwoman?
Yet in the next mont, Stella Monroe called out to Sumr again, "Clarissa, please plead with your father to help your mother, I’m not sick!"
