At this mont, Sumr Monroe’s back was drenched in cold sweat.
The opponent actually managed to track her from Crestfall to here and placed a deadly bomb here.
She rembered what they said after hacking her computer: if she refused to join them, then her fate... would be this bomb in front of her!
Sumr Monroe took several deep breaths again before answering the phone.
"Who are you?!" she asked coldly.
A chanical voice processed through a sound card rang out, "Miss Monroe, do you answer strangers’ calls so indifferently?"
The person spoke in English, and even though the voice was altered, the coldness was still perceptible.
It was indeed the sa group that hacked into her computer!
Sumr Monroe was even more certain that the bomb was set up by them.
Just to kill her, they were willing to take down everyone on the ship with her, exactly like the Stanton Group Building incident—truly cold-blooded and ruthless to the extre!
Sumr Monroe gritted her teeth and asked, "What is it you want?"
The sa chanical voice responded, "The three-day deadline I gave you has expired. I just want an answer."
Sumr Monroe didn’t answer imdiately but knelt down to examine the bomb in front of her.
She wanted to try and see if she could throw the thing into the water.
But the bomb was tightly attached to the wardrobe; unless she threw the entire wardrobe into the sea, there was no way to separate them.
The problem was, this was a floor-to-ceiling wardrobe, and it was impossible for her to throw it into the water.
What if she called the ship’s staff to handle it?
Sumr Monroe quickly dismissed this thought because no one would believe her, and by the ti she called soone, the three minutes would have already passed.
"Miss Monroe, are you hearing ?" The voice on the other end showed impatience.
Sumr Monroe closed her eyes, trying hard to suppress herself before she spoke, "I’m willing to join you!"
She couldn’t risk the lives of everyone on the ship; she had to stall them.
However, the next second, the person clicked their tongue twice and said, "Miss Monroe, I have a lie detector right here, and the data shows you’re lying to ."
Sumr Monroe was stunned, then said, "I’m afraid your lie detector is malfunctioning. I’ve had a falling out with Damian Knight, and I don’t want to cooperate with him anymore."
"Ha—" the person sneered and said, "My lie detector has never been wrong. Miss Monroe, you’re very smart, but a little too clever for your own good. What a pity that soone as smart as you will disappear from this world. Goodbye, Miss Monroe."
"Wait, I..."
Before Sumr Monroe could finish speaking, the other party hung up the phone.
"Damn it!" Sumr Monroe punched the wall in frustration.
She could jump into the water now to get away from the bomb, but what about the people on the ship?
When boarding, she was told by the ship’s staff that there were more than three hundred people here.
More than three hundred people ant more than three hundred lives...

The call was a video communication.

Sumr Monroe got straight to the point, "Rona, I don’t have ti to chat. There’s a bomb in front of . Can you teach how to disarm it remotely?"
The man nad Rona was taken aback and stopped with the pleasantries, imdiately saying, "Let see what it looks like."
