However, before leaving, Mio Osborne rembered what the principal had ntioned and couldn’t help but ask, "Madam, are you Mr. Knight’s mother?"
Susan Stone nodded, "Yes, I’m Damian Knight’s mother. He graduated from Crestfall University before going to Britton University for further studies. Have you heard of him?"
Mio Osborne nodded then shook his head.
He had heard Damian Knight’s na at Britton University, but it was because Damian Knight had donated a sports center to Britton University.
Thinking about it, he must have gotten into Britton University through connections; Mio didn’t think soone of Damian Knight’s status could settle down and study seriously.
But that’s not what he wanted to say. Although he disapproved of such behavior, he understood social dynamics and wouldn’t say this in front of Susan Stone.
Mio Osborne said, "In fact, Mr. Knight recently recomnded a student to my class through the principal. Now it seems, this student is you, Willow Grant."
Willow Grant hesitated for a mont and instinctively looked at Susan Stone.
She knew Damian Knight’s thoughts about her—completely indifferent. Why would he suddenly recomnd her for Mio Osborne’s preparatory class?
Could it be... he recomnded soone else?
However, Susan Stone’s face lit up with joy, and she smiled warmly at Willow Grant, "Willow, didn’t I say? That boy Damian might seem cold-hearted, but he’s really soft inside. See, he recomnded you to Professor Osborne."
Willow Grant still couldn’t believe it, "Are you sure?"
Susan Stone was resolute, "Of course! If not you, then who else?"
Hearing this, Willow Grant finally felt a surge of joy erasing her uncertainties, and a smile couldn’t help but spread across her face.
It seed Damian Knight didn’t dislike her as much as he appeared to. At least he recomnded her to Professor Osborne, right?
She knew it! She couldn’t possibly hold less weight in Damian Knight’s heart than a waitress.
Who would have thought Damian Knight was the aloof yet secretly passionate type?
Willow Grant tried hard to suppress the smile on her face, but she couldn’t control the corners of her mouth.
A socialite should hide all emotions within and not show them easily.
Luckily, Susan Stone wasn’t paying much attention to her and turned back to Mio Osborne, "Willow is a good kid, Professor Osborne. Please take care of her at the school. She’s not from Crestfall and is still unfamiliar with the area."
Mio Osborne nodded, "I will."
Susan Stone stopped talking and said, "Let see you out."
"No need, I can go myself," said Mio Osborne, looking at Willow Grant, "See you this afternoon, Grant."
"See you this afternoon, Professor Osborne." Willow Grant bowed her head, looking the part of a respectful student.
Mio Osborne was satisfied and withdrew his gaze, turned, and walked away.
After the encounter with Mio Osborne, Susan Stone beca increasingly pleased with Willow Grant, thinking that such an excellent daughter-in-law must be firmly secured for Damian Knight.
So, when Willow Grant left for school registration, she found two more suitcases among her belongings. Opening them, she discovered expensive clothes and personal items.
In high spirits, Willow Grant humd a little tune as she pushed her suitcase, leaving her luggage at the new students’ storage area and continued to walk through the campus.
On campus, a crowd of students gathered around, seemingly watching so spectacle.
Instinctively, Willow Grant joined the crowd and saw a tall, handso man exuding authority without anger, standing in the middle.
Willow Grant recognized him at a glance. Wasn’t this Mio Osborne, who had just visited at noon?
