Sumr Monroe walked to the door and cautiously opened it a crack.
Only to see Clarissa Stanton reluctantly holding a platter of fruit, saying, "Dad asked to bring this to you. He wants you to go to the study for a bit."
"Got it." Sumr said as she reached out a hand to take the fruit platter.
Clarissa Stanton instinctively glanced towards the doorway. Sumr stepped to the left to block her view and asked coldly, "Anything else?"
Clarissa Stanton pouted, turned, and walked away.
Sumr closed the door, walked back to her computer, and deleted all her browsing history clean, before opening the door and heading to Henry Stanton’s study.
What Sumr didn’t know was that two minutes later, Clarissa Stanton sneakily approached the door, holding a spare key in her hand.
With a "click," the door opened, and Clarissa Stanton quickly stepped inside and closed the door.
Her gaze swept over the entire room, muttering to herself, "Not letting see, what’s hidden in this room that could cause harm?"

Just as she was about to leave, she caught sight of Sumr’s coat hanging on the standing coat rack with her peripheral vision.
She quickly walked over, took the coat down, and felt the pockets, retrieving a business card from inside.
Upon seeing whose business card it was, Clarissa Stanton’s eyes instantly glead with greed.
It was Damian Knight’s business card!

And clearly, Sumr hadn’t told Dad about this. Otherwise, the card wouldn’t be here but in Dad’s study.
Well, well, Sumr dared to keep this from Dad. She’s going to tell!
Holding the business card, Clarissa Stanton was about to go find Henry Stanton, but her thoughts suddenly changed as she reached the doorway—
Instead of giving the card to Dad and having Dad scold Sumr aninglessly, why not keep the card for herself?
With this business card, wouldn’t it be easier to et Damian Knight or create opportunities for herself?
Having made up her mind, Clarissa Stanton put everything back in place in the room, tucked the business card away, and quietly slipped out of Sumr’s room.
