The leading man was also stunned. He had never expected that the frail-looking girl, whose thighs were not even as thick as his wrists, actually had so skill.
But the man quickly ca to his senses.
Speed was all she had; if everyone attacked at once, Sumr was no match for them.
The man shouted loudly, "What are you all standing around for? Get her!"
As he finished shouting, he realized this was the line Sumr had just used. His face turned dark, and he shouted angrily, "Are you grown n afraid of a little girl? If word gets out, don’t say you work under ! Get her for , make sure she’s done for today!"
Sumr had utterly infuriated him!
Scores of n snapped back to reality.
She was just a quick-witted little girl. They had actually been scared earlier, which was indeed humiliating. They needed to restore their pride!
Several n imdiately rushed forward.
Sumr bent over to dodge the tal rods swung at her by the n. Then, with one hand propped on the ground, she leapt up and kicked three or four of them away.
The force of that kick was not light; those who were hit fell to the ground and couldn’t get up.
The others were montarily stunned, unable to react imdiately.
But Sumr gave them no ti to respond, swiftly and accurately striking at a point on their chests.
Ronan Kingston saw nothing but a fleeting shadow moving quickly from side to side.
All that was heard was a series of dull thuds, "thump, thump, thump," and in the blink of an eye, the circle of people around Sumr were all on the ground, wailing in pain.
Apart from Ronan Kingston, the leading man hadn’t seen how Sumr moved either; he only saw a group of people ending up beaten.
It was a one-sided massacre.
An artistic combat.
The girl clapped her hands again, as if brushing away so disgusting germs.
She looked up at the last man still standing—the leading man—and casually asked, "Do you still want to go up?"
The leading man’s face turned green.
It was one thing for Sumr to knock out the first man, but for an entire group to be floored, unable to stand, was outrageous.
This woman... terrifying!
Yet, faced with the woman’s provocation, the man’s male ego began to act up.
He refused to believe this nonsense, this re girl, could defeat even him, their leader?
The man ignored Ronan Kingston and charged at Sumr.
As he charged, he yelled, "You little wench, today’s your death day!"
Originally, his task was just to scar Sumr’s face, not to be lethal, but Sumr had taken down too many of his n. If this got out, his reputation would be in tatters, he’d never get another job.
"I’ll damn well kill you!" He raised the long knife in his hand, aiming it directly at Sumr’s heart.
Ronan Kingston closed his eyes in fear.
That was a knife! It would draw blood!
No matter how much Sumr dodged, she couldn’t withstand the razor-sharp knife.
But Sumr remained incredibly calm.
She watched the long knife as it thrust at her and didn’t move. Just as it was about to pierce her heart, Sumr pivoted on her toes, turning her body to the side, then struck the man’s arm with a karate chop before he could redirect the blade.
"Ah—" the leading man cried out in pain as the long knife slipped from his hand and hit the ground.
With quick reflexes, Sumr knocked the knife handle up with her toes, then delivered a moderate kick to the handle with her right foot, sending the knife flying back towards the man himself.
The man widened his eyes in terror, his pupils rapidly contracting to a pinpoint.
