Mio Osborne pressed his temples with a headache. Not wanting to continue watching Sumr Monroe’s triumph on stage, he walked straight out of the auditorium before answering the call.
As soon as the call connected, it was his ntor calling.
The ntor’s voice was filled with excitent, "Mio, I showed your solution idea to a few board mbers at Britton University. They really admire you! You must write your thesis well this ti. From what I gathered, they seem willing to lower the standards for you. Instead of needing to bring in three students who can get into Britton University, it’s now reduced to one. So make sure to write this thesis well, it’s crucial!"
Mio’s eyes lit up, and he responded repeatedly, "Yes, yes, Professor, I will definitely write it well!"
"Good. Also, rember the senior I ntioned who’s really good in advanced mathematics? You need to find her quickly. If she can assist you, your thesis will go much smoother."
"Yes, Professor!"
The call ended, and Mio’s hand holding the phone trembled slightly.
To get the certificate, he originally needed to bring in three students who could enter Britton University, but if his thesis went smoothly, he could reduce that number to one.
This was indeed fantastic news.
But the thesis...
Mio’s expression darkened once more.
Admittedly, he had taken advantage of Sumr Monroe this ti. The feeling was identical to what he experienced earlier in the auditorium — he should be happy, yet he felt indescribably uncomfortable, even a bit embarrassed and disgusted.
It was as though he had stolen sothing from Sumr Monroe for his own gain.
Mio took a deep breath with his eyes closed, and when he opened them again, they were filled with calm detachnt.
Anyway, there was no way Sumr Monroe would find out about this, and perhaps she had just coincidentally arrived at this solution.
Besides, as Sumr’s teacher, there was nothing wrong with using a student’s solution for his writing. After all, she was his student, so it was his as well; he shouldn’t feel conflicted.
With this thought, Mio’s mood improved significantly.
He didn’t return to the auditorium, nor did he greet Locke Berg and the others. Having earned the board mbers’ admiration, he no longer needed to network along the Locke Berg line.

In the auditorium, Susan Stone still hadn’t regained her composure even after Locke Berg and the others had left.
Sumr Monroe’s piano playing was so deeply moving; she would have believed it even if soone said it could summon ghosts.
Such a high level of piano skill — she knew only one person who had it, and that was the man of Luna Monroe.
Luna Monroe was taught piano by that man, or rather, her piano prowess advanced rapidly because of the man’s guidance.
But Sumr had no idea who that man was; he couldn’t have been the one who taught her.
This could only an... that Sumr might indeed be that man’s child.
Susan Stone felt a chill in her heart but was also sowhat intrigued.
So many years had passed, and she had no clue where that man was now, nor whether his family would be harsh towards Luna Monroe and his child.
It’s said that even a tiger doesn’t eat its cubs. If they learned of Sumr’s existence and, instead of eliminating her, took her back in, then... might she have missed out on a perfect daughter-in-law?
But the deep-seated fear inside made Susan Stone, after wavering, choose to give up.
The Knight Family was already good enough; there was no need to risk forming ties with that family.
