The girl stood there looking at Sumr Monroe’s departing figure, then looked down at the hundred-dollar bill in her hand, completely bewildered.
Why did she feel like she had just had a fling only to be dumped by a jerk, and was even given a hundred bucks?

On the other side, Damian Knight was searching for soone while calling Sumr Monroe’s phone.
But just as he got through, he saw a phone lying on the ground not far ahead, its screen lit up with an incoming call showing the words "Backer."
Backer?
Damian Knight inexplicably felt that this "Backer" might be him.
With this strange intuition, Damian Knight walked over, bent down, and picked up the phone.
Answered.
The next mont, his own phone also showed the call was connected.
"Backer" was indeed him.
For so reason, Damian Knight felt a flicker of happiness in his heart.
But then he heard voices from the entrance area: "Our people say they lost her, you all go in and search! Leave so guys to guard all the mall entrances. We can only get compensation if we catch her!"
Damian Knight turned his head and saw dozens of people swarming in from the main entrance.
"Damn it!" Damian Knight gritted his teeth, growing more concerned about Sumr Monroe’s situation.
He ended the call with Sumr Monroe and dialed the mall manager’s number, issuing a concise order: "Gather all the security and arrest those causing a scene at the mall entrances."
The manager imdiately replied, "Yes!"
Damian Knight ended the call and began searching for soone in the mall, like looking for a needle in a haystack.
Shortly after, Isaac Ross called.
"Damian, I checked the surveillance. Sumr Monroe is over in Area A. I haven’t pinpointed her exact location yet."
"Okay." Damian Knight replied as he ran toward Area A.

Over on Sumr Monroe’s side.
She lowered the brim of her hat and headed for the exit of Area A.
But she had not yet reached the exit when she saw a group of people coming towards her.
Those guys had caught up so quickly.
For safety’s sake, Sumr Monroe decided to take another exit.
Avoiding eye contact with those people, she turned around and hurried in another direction.
After rounding a corner, Sumr Monroe suddenly spotted a familiar figure.
Damian Knight!
Sumr Monroe’s eyes brightened, and just as she was about to walk over, she noticed a group of people coming alongside Damian Knight. Among them were people with white towels on their foreheads with "Protest" written on them.
They were the ones causing the commotion!
They would definitely recognize Damian Knight!
Just then, she heard that group behind her say, "Look at that guy up ahead, isn’t it Damian Knight?"
Sumr Monroe’s heart tightened, then she suddenly opened her eyes wide.
Got it!
Sumr Monroe quickened her pace towards Damian Knight. Before he recognized her, she reached out, hooked Damian Knight’s neck, pressed his head under her armpit, and teasingly scolded, "You punk! Got a promotion and now you’re all dressed up? Making so much money in real estate, when are you gonna teach ?"
Damian Knight was baffled by the scolding; this woman dressed like so kind of non-conformist was utterly bizarre!
He instinctively wanted to break free from the woman’s arm, but then he realized, this voice...
It was Sumr Monroe!
Damian Knight imdiately stopped trying to break free and cooperated with Sumr Monroe, saying, "Yeah, made a little money, planning to earn more to support a wife."
The smile on Sumr Monroe’s face froze, and she forced a grin, then said, "Support a wife after you have one. For now, just treat to a al. Let’s go!"
With that, she tightened her hold on Damian Knight’s neck and headed for another exit.
