Just, before thoroughly resolving the Stanton Group and Henry Stanton’s family, she still needs to stay here.
Thinking of this, Sumr Monroe reluctantly extended her hand and grasped Henry Stanton’s hand back, saying with grievance and joy, "Thank you, Dad. I’m already happy that you’re willing to keep . In this world, I only have you, Dad."
Henry Stanton’s eyes reddened.
Such a wonderful child, how could he have been confused by Stella Monroe, wanting to drive this child out of the house?
He nodded and patted Sumr Monroe’s shoulder, saying, "Good child, it’s Dad who has wronged you. Dad promises you that sothing like this will never happen again."
Henry Stanton spoke firmly, but Sumr Monroe knew well that anything Henry said was uncertain; his mind might change in the next second.
Such a fickle and greedy person simply does not deserve to be a father.
Master Jonah said Stella Monroe was destined to be childless. Isn’t it also saying Henry Stanton is destined to be childless?
"Thank you, Dad." Sumr Monroe felt a chill in her heart, but her expression remained gentle and smiling.
Yet, the smile on her face deeply pierced Stella Monroe’s eyes.
She absolutely did not expect that her carefully laid out plan with Old Madam Stanton would not only be useless against Sumr Monroe but would also anger Henry Stanton.
She tightly pressed her lips together, almost biting her teeth to pieces.
Vixen!
Sumr Monroe is a vixen!
Stella Monroe suddenly thought of the "child" in her belly.
This fake pregnancy would eventually be exposed; she’d rather use this nonexistent child to drive Sumr Monroe out.
The Daoist might not be reliable, but can she, herself, not be reliable?
Stella Monroe had already made up her mind. With an apologetic smile, she said to Sumr Monroe, "Sadie, Auntie was montarily confused. I was worried you couldn’t accept the child in my belly, so I resorted to such a nasty trick. I hope you won’t hold it against Auntie. Auntie will definitely compensate you in the future."
Sumr Monroe’s expression paused: "Can’t accept the child in your belly? I think it’s you who can’t accept , isn’t it?"
Stella Monroe’s mouth twitched, then she put on a pitiful expression and said to Henry Stanton, "Henry, look, it’s because Sadie always uses this attitude towards , so I thought of having her co back after our son is born. I’m just afraid of encountering sothing like what happened with Clarissa again..."
Henry Stanton furrowed his brow, wanting to scold Sumr Monroe for Stella Monroe, but recalling Master Jonah’s words about the "chosen daughter," he swallowed the words and said like a peacemaker, "Misunderstandings, all misunderstandings. You two should get along well in the future, misunderstandings can always be resolved."
Stella Monroe was extrely dissatisfied, but at this critical mont, she had no choice but to ask for help from Old Madam Stanton.
However, when Stella Monroe glanced over, Old Madam Stanton was sitting on the chair, panting heavily.
Stella Monroe asked in shock, "Mom, what’s wrong with you?"
Henry Stanton then noticed sothing was off with Old Madam Stanton and quickly walked over to inquire, "Mom, are you okay?"
Old Madam Stanton wanted to say she was fine, but as soon as she opened her mouth, her chest hurt as though being cut with a knife, and she couldn’t utter a complete sentence.
The butler saw this and quickly told Henry Stanton, "Sir, the Madam took a fall when she was coming downstairs earlier. Could it be from that?"
"What?!" Henry Stanton was shocked and scolded, "How could such a thing not be reported to until now? Prepare a car for the hospital imdiately!"
"Yes." The butler responded and ran out.
Henry Stanton cautiously supported Old Madam Stanton, instructed Stella Monroe to rest at ho, and with the servants’ help, half-carried and half-assisted her into the car.
