Mio Osborne’s tone softened, yet his attitude remained firm, as if he wouldn’t let her leave unless she applied for the student loan.
Sumr Monroe was at a loss, unable to reveal her identity, she sighed heavily and reached for the application form in Mio Osborne’s hand.
"That’s the spirit." Mio Osborne handed her a pen, saying, "Fill it out here, and go back to class once you’re done."
He spoke as he stood up, offering his chair to Sumr Monroe.
Sumr Monroe just wanted to get it over with quickly, without thinking much about Mio Osborne’s change in attitude, and sat down to swiftly fill out the student loan application form.
Mio Osborne stood behind Sumr Monroe, looking down at the form in her hands.
"Here, here, these parts are empty; Principal Payne and I will fill them in. You take care of the rest," Mio Osborne leaned closer to Sumr Monroe, his finger pointing at the blank spaces in the application as he guided her.
Sumr Monroe nodded, not saying anything, seriously focusing on filling out the form.
Mio Osborne’s gaze involuntarily shifted from the application form to Sumr Monroe.
He noticed Sumr Monroe’s slightly bent back, strands of hair falling beside her ears, her profile impeccably perfect.
Moreover, her neck was exceptionally fair and slender.
Mio Osborne stared at Sumr Monroe, unable to look away.
Though not interested in the entertainnt circle, he knew many female celebrities often talk about having "swan necks."
Swan necks, Sumr Monroe’s neck is long and slender, dazzlingly white, adorned with minute, delicate hairs, tempting one to reach out and feel.

Afternoon sunlight stread through the door crevice, landing precisely on Sumr Monroe’s neck, as the particles in the air drifted slowly like a halo necklace around her.
Mio Osborne’s throat involuntarily bobbed, emitting a "gulp."
Sumr Monroe chose this mont to turn her head.
"Professor Osborne."
Mio Osborne, flustered, looked away, discreetly cleared his throat to mask his earlier odd behavior.
"Professor Osborne? I’ve finished, take a look." Sumr Monroe, unaware of Mio Osborne’s expressions, simply aid to wrap up quickly.
Mio Osborne misunderstood her greatly, and she couldn’t be bothered to explain; every second with Mio Osborne felt suffocating, so she opted to finish and leave, out of sight, out of mind.
"Alright." Mio Osborne avoided looking at Sumr Monroe, taking the form without even checking it, saying directly, "You can go."
Sumr Monroe, relieved, stood up and swiftly exited the office.
"Bang," followed by the door closing.
Mio Osborne quickly pressed his hand against his chest.
His heartbeat was rapid and chaotic.
What was happening to him?

Mio Osborne sat blankly back in his seat, forcing himself not to think, not to consider anything, but Sumr Monroe’s neck image kept flashing in his mind.
"Damn!" Mio Osborne stood up, frustrated, suddenly sweeping everything off his desk onto the floor.
Just then, his phone rang.
He retrieved his phone and checked the caller ID—it was his parents.
Mio Osborne took two deep breaths to calm his nerves before sliding to answer, starting with, "Mom."
"Son, you don’t have classes tomorrow, right? Why not co ho for a bit?"
"What’s up?" Mio Osborne asked.
His mother chuckled on the other end, "An old college friend of mine, last na Wood, recently got back in touch. She said her daughter is about your age, also busy with work and hasn’t found anyone yet. Co ho tomorrow, she’s a prominent doctor and you’re a college professor, I think you’re well-suited. If you both feel it’s right, we could settle it. You’re not getting any younger, and your dad and I’ve been longing for grandchildren every day."
