Sumr knew it was Damian Knight, but she deliberately didn’t look up.
However, the next instant, she felt sothing icy cold against her face, jolting her body reflexively to the side.
When the cold sensation disappeared, she reflexively looked to the upper right—
Only to see Damian Knight holding two cups of iced milk tea, casually bending his waist, smiling with his eyes in a flattering way, saying, "Sadie, don’t be mad... hmm?"
Perhaps intentionally, the tone of "hmm?" was elongated, lingering and seductive, while he himself had an inherent restrained charm that was inexplicably attractive.
Sumr’s mind felt like it was exploding once again.
She only heard Damian Knight place the milk tea on her desk, helping her insert a straw as he said, "Bella said you like to drink ’Tea’s’ juicy grapes, so I specifically went across your school to get it for you, care to take a sip?"
He consulted Ryder Quinn, but Ryder was also clueless about how to deal with Sumr, so he only shared how he appeased his girlfriend — buy things she likes to eat, use, and wear.
He rembered the incident when Bella caused so trouble, Sumr had been drinking milk tea, so he went to the ’Tea’ shop across Crestfall University and bought a cup of juicy grapes.
Sumr looked at the milk tea that Damian Knight handed over again, her hand gripping the pen involuntarily tightening.
Her heart, perhaps... malfunctioned.
"Just have a sip, don’t be mad, okay?" Damian Knight spoke again in that lingering tone.
Sumr simply couldn’t withstand his deanor anymore, reached out to grab the milk tea, turned her gaze aside, and said, "I’ll drink, but you should leave."
Nevertheless, Damian Knight not only didn’t leave but moved even closer, his mouth almost beside her ear before speaking: "So you’re not mad anymore?"
The warmth from his breath touched her ear, dyeing her earlobe red with heat.
Sumr moved back an inch, covering her ear with her hand, and spoke with frustration, "Not mad anymore! Can you leave now? I’m begging you!"
Damian Knight finally stood up, satisfied, saying, "Alright, I’ll leave, study well, get so sleep early, and I’ll take you to class tomorrow morning."
"Got it, got it..." Sumr urged, "Could you leave sooner?"
If he didn’t leave soon, Damian Knight would certainly notice her face blushing like a tomato at any mont.
"Okay."
Damian Knight agreed, smiling as he left.
The light in the bedroom was dim, but he still saw Sumr’s flushed face.
Looks like that kid Ryder really had so tricks up his sleeve, the five million spent was worth it.
As soon as Damian Knight left, Sumr quickly dived into the covers.
Her heart raced, feeling like it was about to jump out of her chest.
"No, no, Sumr... calm down!" Sumr rolled around on the bed, a voice in her head frantically telling her to calm down, but she simply couldn’t.
After a while, tiny beads of sweat ford on Sumr’s forehead from all the tossing.
She exhaled heavily and sat up.
She didn’t understand what was wrong with her?
Was she sick?
Sumr was completely inexperienced in romantic matters, usually busy with her studies and never paid attention to relationships between n and won, so she had no idea what was happening to her now.
She patted her face, reached for her phone, and ssaged Holly Holloway—
"Holly, what does it an when a person gets close, and you can’t help but blush and your heart races?"
Holly replied quickly: "I often feel that way, my parents say I have mild autism and severe social anxiety, do you have that too? Have you seen a psychologist?"
