Claire Woodward and Charles Chapman were waiting for the patient’s family to recall this matter.
Hearing Henry Stanton say so, Charles Chapman imdiately pointed to the lawyer beside him and introduced, "This is Attorney Chambers from Crestfall Gold dal Law Firm. We’ve already discussed this with him in advance. This matter counts as a dical incident, and our hospital will also take responsibility. Please sign here, and we’ll take her to court together and make her pay the price she should pay."
Henry Stanton was also an old fox. Seeing that even a lawyer was prepared, he imdiately guessed that this person did not have a good relationship with the two doctors.
It seed like he and these two were in cahoots.
With "one of his own," Henry Stanton put away his anger, took the docunt handed over by Attorney Alden, didn’t look closely, just noticed he was the plaintiff and swiftly signed it.
Seeing Henry Stanton sign the docunt, Charles Chapman spoke, "Please wait a mont, I’ll contact the defendant."
He dialed the phone number of the attending physician of the patient from the Crestfall Hospital café, solemnly explaining the entire situation.
The attending physician was shocked and imdiately hung up to call Sumr Monroe.
Sumr Monroe, just about to fall asleep, was awakened by the phone. She exhaled a breath of frustration and answered the call.
After listening to the other party, her face instantly darkened, and she said, "Tell him, the items will be there shortly; it’s not yet twelve o’clock, and they will definitely be there before then."
With Sumr Monroe’s assurance, the attending physician felt relieved and then called Charles Chapman back.
Charles Chapman happily answered, asking, "How is it? Has that young girl been scared into a panic?"
The attending physician angrily said, "Charles Chapman, you are too unethical! Why do you need to go so far against a young girl?"
"Don’t be angry, I’m not targeting you. Besides, how can this be called targeting? I’m just following protocol. Who told her to boast and cause a death?"
The attending physician snorted, "Well, sorry to burst your bubble, but the items will be ready shortly. The agreed ti is twelve o’clock, and it’s just past eleven; you just wait!"
With that, the attending physician directly hung up the phone.
Charles Chapman was displeased.
Is there a difference between twelve and eleven-thirty?
If the items can’t arrive, they just can’t arrive. At this critical mont, still playing delays!
Isn’t it just waiting?
Then he’ll just wait.
Charles Chapman returned to the ergency room’s door with a sullen face, repeating what the attending physician said.
Claire Woodward’s face was icy as she spoke, "Looks like she’s scared and probably looking for a lawyer for help now."
Charles Chapman sneered, "Even if she finds a way, it won’t help. She’s caused a life; even if she escapes legal punishnt, she can’t escape the condemnation of her conscience."
Hearing this, Claire Woodward had an idea.
She raised an eyebrow and said, "To deal with soone trying to evade responsibility, we can only force her out. Don’t you have our hospital’s official account password for the internet?"
Reminded by Claire Woodward, Charles Chapman slapped his head, saying, "Right, she has quite a few fans online because of that endorsent. Let’s reveal her true face to those fans now!"
As he spoke, Charles Chapman picked up his phone and began logging into the account.
Two minutes later, a new post from First Ross Hospital was released.
"With great regret, another life will leave us tonight. As we mourn, we must strongly condemn Ms. Sumr Monroe! You promised to deliver ten robots for heart treatnt to our hospital by noon today, and out of trust, we delayed the surgery. However, the items were not delivered, severely delaying the patient’s treatnt. Your recklessness has cost a life. On behalf of the hospital and the patient’s family, I will file a lawsuit against you. Please await the court’s summons."
