Willow Grant, in a state of panic, could only turn to Susan Stone for help.
"Mrs. Stone... I don’t know either. My classmates said the person in the photo looks like Sumr. I was worried sothing happened to her, so I imdiately ca to you."
Susan Stone instinctively believed Willow Grant’s words, gently patting Willow’s hand and saying, "It’s fine. If it’s a mistake, it’s a mistake. You ant well."
"ant well?" Damian Knight spoke coldly: "If you were truly worried about her, shouldn’t you have called the police first? Why co to my mom and Henry Stanton?"
Willow Grant’s face stiffened, turning pale as she asked, "Young Master Knight, what do you an by that? Are you saying I’m deliberately making a big deal out of this? But Sumr’s not the person inside; what’s the point of making it big? I really just made a mistake."
Damian Knight couldn’t be bothered to argue further, saying directly: "Whether you made a mistake or not, I don’t care. Last ti I told you to move out of the manor. Why haven’t you left yet? Do I have to throw your things out?"
Willow Grant felt both humiliated and wronged, tears falling rapidly.
"Mrs. Stone..."
She turned to Susan Stone for help again.
Susan Stone couldn’t tolerate it, glaring at Damian Knight and saying, "How can you speak to Willow like that? She’s your future wife. Where do you want her to go?"
"Future... wife?" Damian Knight’s dark eyes suddenly turned cold.
Susan Stone frowned, displeased.
"Damian, what do you an by looking at your mother like this?"
Sumr Monroe, standing nearby, was about to urge Damian Knight not to argue with Susan Stone when Damian suddenly spoke: "I just rembered sothing I forgot to tell you."
Sumr felt inexplicably uneasy.
She seed to have guessed what Damian Knight was about to say.
Susan Stone asked puzzledly, "What is it?"
Damian Knight slightly curved his lips and said, "I already have a wife."
"!~" Sumr’s eyes suddenly widened, and she grabbed Damian Knight’s sleeve and said, "Damian Knight, don’t say it!"
Willow Grant watched their actions, her heart aching, a fear spreading through her entire body.
Willow Grant even asked ahead of Susan Stone, "What do you an by that?"
"What I an is..." Damian Knight reached out and tightly grabbed Sumr’s hand, their hands intertwining and raised to his chest.
In the astonished gazes of Susan Stone and Willow Grant, he said, "I already have a wife. My wife is Sumr. We have registered our marriage."
Sumr closed her eyes tightly.
Damian Knight actually said it! And at such a critical mont.
But what did he an? Their marriage was just a strategic partnership. If they are open about it, their marriage would really beco a marriage.
Surprised, joyful, confused, a mix of emotions intertwined.
But Sumr was not a timid person; she took a deep breath, reversed her palm, interlaced her fingers tightly holding Damian Knight’s hand and said, "Auntie, Damian Knight and I have registered our marriage. You don’t need to arrange blind dates for him anymore."
"What, what... you, you..." Susan Stone was so shocked she couldn’t utter a complete sentence.
Beside her, Willow Grant’s eyes were wide like saucers, unable to recover from Damian Knight’s words for a long ti.
At this point, the reporters finally took enough pictures.
They dared to photograph Claire Woodward and Mio Osborne, but not Damian Knight and the others.
After completing their job, they quietly left.
Mio Osborne and Claire Woodward had just put on their clothes, and as they walked out of the bedroom, they heard the conversation between Damian Knight and Sumr.
