Mio Osborne looked at the post and continued, "You only ntioned the dia and netizens, but you didn’t say a word about Damian Knight and Sumr Monroe. Didn’t you get the focus wrong? The focus should be on the two of them. If it weren’t for them, we wouldn’t have ended up on the hotel bed together!"
"You think I don’t want to?" Claire Woodward gritted her teeth and said, "In that crappy house, that little bitch forced to talk about the perfu thing and even recorded it. If I ntion them in the statent, they could release the recording in a second."
Mio Osborne’s face looked grim.
Claire Woodward continued, "At most, the two of them could be counted as invading privacy, but us? The perfu thing is a serious cri! We can never bring it up again, do you understand?"
Mio Osborne bit his molars and said coldly, "I’m going back to school."
With that, he turned around, got in the car, and left.
"Hey! Wait for , take to the hospital!" Claire Woodward hurriedly caught up, almost getting her nose pinched by the car door.
Mio Osborne drove off without the slightest intention of taking her.
"Damn it!" Claire Woodward kicked a lamppost, making a "thud" sound.
Just then, her phone rang.
Claire Woodward thought Mio Osborne had a change of heart, but it turned out to be a call from Charles Chapman.
She spoke irritably, "Charles, what do you want from ?"
Charles Chapman asked in distress, "Claire, are you married? I saw the post online, what’s going on?"
"Ha—" Claire Woodward snorted impatiently, "Whether I’m married or not doesn’t seem to concern you. As far as I know, you finally got a job at a small hospital, but then the Young Master exposed your embezzlent, and you lost your job again... you’re in no position to worry about ."
"Claire! You can’t do this to ! I was wholeheartedly devoted to you. Nothing mattered more than you. I even missed seeing my dad one last ti after his car accident because I was covering your shift. You can’t treat like this!"
Claire Woodward couldn’t be bothered to engage with Charles Chapman any longer. She hung up the call and imdiately blocked his number.
To her, Charles Chapman was now just wasted space, sothing that serves no purpose and should be discarded like trash, lest it taint her.
...
Mio Osborne returned to the school, marriage certificate in hand, and found Principal Payne.
Principal Payne, known for his impartial rewards and punishnts, had seen the post online and understood the situation. He offered Mio Osborne so words of comfort and apology, and then reminded him, "Today is Friday. Monday is coming soon. You need to prepare to publicly apologize to Sumr Monroe for the previous issues during the flag-raising ceremony."
Mio Osborne’s face darkened as he nodded stiffly.
"I understand, Principal."
Mio Osborne returned to the classroom with a stormy expression. As he entered, he imdiately saw Sumr Monroe sitting in the back row.
His face beca even gloomier, surrounded by what felt like low air pressure, causing the students in the class to avoid looking at him.
After one class, the students barely dared to breathe. They endured anxiously until the end of the class, and Mio Osborne didn’t leave imdiately. He said coldly, "The first monthly test for the first book will be next Thursday and Friday. Review well over the weekend, and don’t slack off. After the monthly test, the bottom three students will leave our preparatory class, so work hard and don’t co crying to if you fail."
After speaking, he looked pointedly in the direction of Sumr Monroe and Ronan Kingston.
