Now, it’s not just a week without seeing Sumr; even one day feels unbearable for him.
"Oh..." Sumr dragged out her words.
Damian Knight glanced at Sumr’s expression with curiosity and asked, "Did you miss during the ti I didn’t contact you?"
"No!" Sumr replied firmly, "I was too busy; how would I have ti to think about you?"
"Alright then." Damian pretended to be hurt, but he had already noticed the blush on Sumr’s cheeks.
Soon, they arrived at Redleaf Manor.
When Damian and Sumr arrived, Cece and Bella were already waiting for them.
Earlier, Sumr had gotten the residue from the dicine Stella Monroe drank, but she couldn’t identify the herbs in it, so she asked Damian to have soone investigate it.

Cece respectfully replied, "Boss, the dicine you asked us to check is indeed from Myanmar."
Sumr quickly asked, "What effect does this dicine have?"

After listening to Cece, Sumr was enlightened.
Her suspicions were confird: Stella Monroe was indeed pretending to be pregnant!

Damian scoffed, "Stella Monroe sure has so tricks up her sleeve to get a hold of such dicine."
"It was probably her lover, Felix Jennings, who got it for her. That Felix certainly has a lot of connections."
Bella couldn’t help but speak up, "Miss Monroe, we also brought back sothing else."
Bella spoke as she took out a bag of dark herbs from her pocket.
Sumr sniffed them; she recognized a few of the herbs but didn’t know what so of them were.
"What is this?" she asked.
Bella replied, "It’s sothing that can expose lies."
Cece added, "If she takes this, the Gaia won’t work anymore, and there will be backlash — she’ll never be able to conceive again."
Sumr reached out to take it, planning to give it to Leah Lowell to mix into Stella’s "fetus-preserving dicine."
"Do you need help?" Damian asked.
Sumr shook her head, "No need. Since Stella is faking a pregnancy, once the dicine fails, she’ll definitely find a way to fake a miscarriage... I think the first person she’ll think of to help her miscarry is . Then, she can use Henry Stanton to get rid of ."
Damian nodded and then turned to Cece and Bella, "You two have had a tiring trip to Myanmar, go ho and rest well."
"Yes." Bella and Cece, quick to read the situation, swiftly left.
Damian turned back to look at Sumr, saying, "It’s getting late — why not stay at my place tonight?"

She blushed instantly, stamring, "Da-Damian Knight, I’m not ready for that yet..."
"Pfft." Damian chuckled, tapping Sumr on the forehead with his fingertip, "What are you thinking? Do I seem like soone in a hurry? I’ll wait until you’re ready. So... stay at my place tonight? I have plenty of rooms, and I won’t sleep in the sa one as you, alright?"
