Henry Stanton turned his head and glared fiercely at Stella Monroe.
He’s incredibly suspicious, and once he confirms he’s been betrayed, he can never truly trust that person again.
He said through gritted teeth, "Bitch! Listen up! Nothing you say now will help. If you know what’s best, keep your mouth shut and don’t disturb my mother’s rest."
While speaking, Henry Stanton revealed a face of filial devotion and patted the urn of Old Madam Stanton’s ashes that he held in his arms.
The old lady had lived a long life, it was a joyful funeral. On this trip back to his hotown, he was determined to make the funeral grand, to let everyone see his power, and thus effectively replace the old lady.
He hadn’t stayed for long in years, and had forgotten how to communicate with those country bumpkins.
But compared to communication, using sheer dominance to suppress them was evidently better.
Henry Stanton curled his lips in smug satisfaction, unaware that his actions would completely shatter the villagers’ last moral boundary.
What Henry Stanton didn’t know was that a car was following his two cars at a discreet distance.
In the car, Bella took out her phone and made a call to Damian Knight.
"Boss, Henry Stanton’s heading towards the Stanton Estate, should we follow him back?"
"Hmm." Damian Knight said calmly, "Sumr Monroe has people lurking over there. Sumr will give you the contact information, then you can find a place to et and assist her people in getting things done."
"Got it." Bella responded, then relayed the ssage to Cece who was driving, following up with, "We probably won’t get there until after dark, I’m going to take a nap. Got up too early, haven’t had enough sleep."
"Don’t just sit around!" Cece said thoughtfully, "First, go through all the information we have on Henry Stanton and the Stanton Estate. If I’m wrong, Miss Monroe is likely considering taking legal action against Henry. We need to understand what kind of person Henry Stanton is and what he’s done, so when the ti cos, we’re prepared."
"Alright." Bella sighed, opened her laptop, and got busy.

Elsewhere, Sumr Monroe walked out of First Ross Hospital, surprised to learn that Henry Stanton had actually taken Stella Monroe back to his hotown.
Had Henry really abandoned Stanton Group over Stella Monroe?
Just then, Sumr received a call from one of her subordinates who were lurking in Stanton Group.
"Hello?"
"Miss San, I just got news that Henry Stanton sold Stanton Group!"
"What?!" Sumr exclaid, eyes widening, unable to believe that Henry would sell the company for Stella.
She quickly asked, "When did this happen?"
"The news just broke, the acquisition agreent was likely reached this morning."
"Morning..." Sumr murmured.
If it was in the morning, then Henry Stanton’s decision wasn’t due to Stella Monroe.
"Got it, continue staying in the company and don’t reveal your true identity."
"Yes!"
Sumr imdiately ended the call, then took out her phone and used her custom programming to quickly check Henry Stanton’s asset transaction information.
This kind of information couldn’t be accessed by ordinary people, but with her custom programming, it was easily accomplished.
This is where the advantages of hacker skills beco apparent.
Within minutes, Sumr had checked all of Henry Stanton’s recent transaction information.
The data showed that Henry Stanton had sold all his assets in Crestfall, including all fixed assets, except Stanton Manor.
