But Sadie only shook her head lightly.
"No. From the mont I ca back, in my heart I still saw you as my father, and I even thought that as long as you weren’t involved in that incident, I could help you, help the Monroe Family, even help the Stanton Group soar. After all, you were my only blood relative left. It’s just a pity... you let down again and again."
Henry Stanton’s heart twisted into a knot.

"Oh? Then let ask soone else what they have to say." Sadie turned her eyes to the side and ordered the bodyguard, "Bring her over!"
"Yes, ma’am!"
In no ti, the tightly trussed-up Stella Monroe was brought over.
When she saw Henry Stanton tied up in the trunk, the ashen look on her face vanished in an instant, replaced by wild, maniacal laughter.
"Hahaha... Henry Stanton, you didn’t see this coming either, did you? What we did to Luna Monroe ten years ago still got dug up by her daughter ten years later. You thought you could lock up in that pigsty for the rest of my life? I say you’re the one who’ll be imprisoned by Sadie for life! "Drag you down?" Stella sneered and asked, "Wasn’t it you who personally pushed Luna Monroe down? Who was it that said to her, ’I’m sick of seeing that high-and-mighty face of yours,’ and then shoved her off?"
"I did not! What push? Don’t talk nonsense! Luna clearly jumped because you pissed her off!"
Stella shook her head. "Heaven is watching everything humans do, Henry. Don’t think that just because you won’t admit it, it’ll all go away."
Henry simply ignored Stella and turned to Sadie, saying, "Sadie, you have to believe Dad! Dad really didn’t take part in that. I didn’t know anything at all. By the ti I found out, I was already married to Stella. After that I had no choice. For the honor of the Monroe Family, I couldn’t very well send the Monroe Family’s only daughter to prison, could I?"
But the mont Henry finished speaking, Stella burst out laughing again.
This ti she even laughed until tears ca out, her waist bent so far she couldn’t straighten up.
"What are you laughing at?!" Henry roared, furious.
