Just then, footsteps sounded from the classroom door, and the door was pushed open.

"Sorry, everyone, I was running late because of sothing. Turn to page 110 in your textbooks. We won’t be doing a new lesson today; I’ll help you review the previous content. Before we start the review, let’s take attendance."
Mio Osborne said, flipping open the attendance book.
When he called Sumr Monroe’s na, there was no response.
Mio Osborne looked displeasedly at Sumr’s empty seat, asking Ronan Kingston next to it, "Ronan Kingston, is Sumr Monroe not here for class yet?"
Ronan Kingston nodded, "She’s dealing with sothing at ho and took two days off."
"Hmph." Mio Osborne snorted coldly, not saying anything further.

Mio Osborne shook off his guilty conscience, flipped open the textbook, and started the review with the students.

"Phew—" Mio Osborne let out a heavy sigh, feeling even more hatred toward Sumr Monroe.

"Professor Osborne?" one of the students called out, noticing that Mio Osborne had spaced out for quite a while. "Professor Osborne, we’ve finished the exercises."
Mio Osborne quickly snapped back to reality, forcing himself not to think about all that botherso stuff.
To him, the most important thing was to try to get the prep class students into Britton University. Claire Woodward and Sumr Monroe weren’t matters he needed to worry about for the ti being.
Mio Osborne looked around the classroom and asked, "The answer is 0.03. If you got it right, raise your hand."
More than half of the students raised their hands.
Mio Osborne nodded in satisfaction. The prep class students had a solid foundation, and getting a few into Britton University shouldn’t be too difficult.
However, Mio Osborne’s gaze swept around and landed on Ronan Kingston, who had also raised his hand.
He curled his lip, not considering Ronan Kingston worth his attention.
People who got in through connections couldn’t compare to the ones he chose personally. He wouldn’t waste his energy on those kinds of people.
