"Ah—Cece, he, he, he, he’s a celebrity!"
Cece looked over suspiciously. She wasn’t a fan and didn’t recognize the bruised and battered man in front of her.
"Hmph!" Cece snorted coldly, saying, "So what if he’s a celebrity? Our job is to protect Miss Monroe. Whether it’s a celebrity or a king, if anyone bullies Miss Monroe, we have to step in."
"Right! Watch punch your head off!"
Bella swung her fist and was about to hamr Carter Sutton, who was still in a daze from the beating.
"Stop!" Sumr Monroe rushed up to stop her, pulling Bella back and saying, "Don’t act rashly, find out what happened first."
"Yes." Bella responded but still kept a wary eye on the man, ready to make a move at any mont.
Sumr Monroe helplessly stepped forward and asked, "Are you okay?"
Carter Sutton winced in pain, asking Sumr Monroe irritably, "What the heck is going on? Why did your friend hit ?!"
Hearing that voice, Sumr Monroe suddenly rembered.
"Aren’t you that weird person who stopped in the supermarket before?"
"Yes! That’s !" Carter Sutton stomped his foot: "What do you an weird person? Am I really that weird?"
Sumr Monroe looked at the mask and sunglasses knocked to the ground by Bella and nodded honestly, "You are quite weird. Why are you wrapping yourself up like a dumpling in this heat?"
"That’s because I’m a celebrity, afraid of being recognized by fans! Who knew you’d just punch , and your friend as well—my face, is it okay?"
Carter Sutton hurriedly took a mirror out of his bag and looked at his bruised and swollen face, then started stomping his foot in frustration again.
Seeing Carter Sutton acting like this, Sumr Monroe suddenly rembered that last ti in the supermarket, he got surrounded and photographed after his face was revealed.
She asked suspiciously, "It was wrong of to hit you, but you scared first, so you can’t bla us. But I’ll pay for the dical expenses."
Carter Sutton carefully inspected his face and, seeing no visible damage, cald down a bit and looked at Sumr Monroe, saying, "I don’t want your dical expenses."
"Then what do you want?"
"Your contact information."
"Huh?" Sumr Monroe looked puzzled: "Why do you want my contact information?"
Carter Sutton stiffened and quickly explained, "Don’t get wrong! I’m not interested in you, it’s just that the director of a script I have asked to find you."
While speaking, Carter Sutton pulled a script out of his bag for Sumr Monroe and said proudly, "This is the script, take a look."
Sumr Monroe didn’t take it, but she glanced at the director’s na on the script: Simon Sutton.
"So Director Sutton sent you to find ." Sumr Monroe sighed and said, "I already turned him down before. Has he not found another actress yet?"
"No, he hasn’t. I’m the leading man in this movie now. Aren’t you my fan? Now you can reconsider."
Sumr Monroe looked speechless: "When did I beco your fan?"
"Stop pretending, using the ’play hard to get’ trick more than twice becos aningless." Carter Sutton forcibly shoved his business card into Sumr Monroe’s hand, saying, "This is my card. Call when you make up your mind. This is a one-ti opportunity, I’ll give you three days to decide."
Saying that, Carter Sutton picked up his mask and sunglasses from the ground, put them on, and walked away without giving Sumr Monroe a chance to speak.
"Hey! Hey, wait a minute!"
Sumr Monroe took a step to catch up, but in a flash, Carter Sutton had disappeared without a trace.
Bella walked up curiously and asked, "Sumr Monroe, were you really his fan?"
