As soon as these words were spoken, the wailing in the class imdiately ceased.
So were surprised, others confused, but most looked at Willow Grant with displeasure.
"What’s Willow Grant up to this ti?"
"Afraid her top spot in class might be taken by the pro, so she’s throwing dirt on my goddess before the results are even out?"
"Very likely!"
Willow Grant’s straightforward deskmate nonchalantly stood up and waved his hand, saying, "We’ve finally finished the exam, let’s disperse, disperse!"
Willow glared at her deskmate, saying coldly, "Disperse? In such an unfair exam, you have no thoughts at all?"
The straightforward deskmate frowned and said, "Willow, stop being ridiculous."
"Ridiculous? , ridiculous?" Willow was infuriated, pointing at Sumr Monroe: "It seems you don’t understand what I said. Did you know? Sumr Monroe had already seen the test papers in advance, knew the content, and told Holly Holloway about the exam content."
Holly was so anxious her face turned red.
"No, that’s not it... it’s not like that at all."
"Oh?" Willow scoffed: "Actions speak louder than words. Who do you think you can fool? Let tell you directly, at noon, I heard everything you said to Sumr! She told you that the test in the afternoon would involve quantum chanics. You can’t deny that, can you?"
"I..." Holly, who couldn’t lie, said, blushing, "Yes, that’s true. But Sadie didn’t..."
"Enough! You’ve already admitted it!" Willow interrupted Holly directly, glaring around the class, then loudly declared: "Don’t you all think Sumr’s answers were spot on? That’s right! They were exact answers because she knew the exam topics in advance!"
The mont she said that, the class fell into a silence so deep you could hear a pin drop.
Everyone knew Holly’s character, and she wasn’t soone skilled at lying.
And what she just said clearly implied that Sumr indeed knew about the quantum chanics that would be tested that afternoon.
What on earth... happened here?
Everyone looked at Sumr in confusion.
No one wanted to doubt Sumr, but they definitely wanted an explanation.
Willow’s straightforward deskmate was the first to speak: "Boss, what’s going on here? It’s a misunderstanding, right?"
Sumr knew she couldn’t pretend not to hear Willow anymore.
She looked deeply at Willow, her eyes cold as Arctic ice, sending a shiver down Willow’s spine.
But besides fear, Willow felt more joy.
That look from Sumr clearly showed she was furious and ashad because the truth had been revealed!
Willow curled her lips into a smirk and asked, "Sumr, you should at least explain, why aren’t you saying anything?"
Sumr spoke in a calm voice: "Willow, you’re really quite ignorant."
Willow’s face froze: "You..."
Before she could say more, Sumr interrupted her: "Haven’t you heard of a term in this world called ’betting on questions’?"
Willow choked back a retort, then imdiately refuted, "You’re trying to use ’betting on questions’ to obscure the truth? Even if you bet on topics, how could you be so precise?"
Sumr spoke calmly, "Because I’m skilled."
"..." Willow’s face instantly darkened further, and her mouth hesitated a couple of tis.
She was waiting for Sumr to make excuses, and that’s it??
"Sumr, are you joking?"
"I’m not joking with you." Sumr stepped in front of Willow. Taller by a forehead, she slightly raised her chin and said from above, "No matter how much you struggle, no matter how much muck you throw, you can’t deny this fact."
