After Henry Stanton was imprisoned, the court confiscated all of his shares to compensate the villagers’ losses and the geological damage caused by the mining project.
And this day happened to be the day Stanton Group held its shareholder eting to elect a new chairman.
In the newly renovated Stanton Group executive eting room, one faction led by Henry Stanton’s supporter, Hugo Holden, and the other led by the Monroe Family’s veteran shareholder, Morgan Monroe, both held fifteen percent of the shares.
Before this, Morgan Monroe had already been bought over by Stella Monroe. Neither of them was a good person, and they had been quarreling fiercely for the chairman position for so ti.
During the most heated argunt, Morgan Monroe slamd the table in anger and shouted, "Let’s vote directly!"
Hugo Holden cald down at this point.
The company originally belonged to the Monroe Family, and the number of shareholders and directors from the Monroe Family far outnumbered those from his faction.
If it goes to a vote, he would undoubtedly lose.
"We can’t go by the vote!" Hugo Holden stood up and pointed at Morgan Monroe’s nose, saying, "Who doesn’t know that you’ve been privately contacting various major shareholders and directors since Mr. Stanton had his incident?"
Morgan Monroe sneered and said, "This has always been the Monroe Family’s company. You’re an outsider; do you plan to take over the entire group?"

Morgan Monroe said leisurely, "If we don’t vote, then what do you propose doing?"
Hugo Holden cleared his throat and said, "My view is that the largest shareholder should assu the position of the new chairman."
During this period, he quietly acquired many scattered shares, and now his shares were equal to Morgan Monroe’s. With those scattered shares, he would be the largest shareholder.
At this mont, the company’s lawyer stood up and said, "Gentlen, if we’re going by shares, there’s one major shareholder who hasn’t arrived today."
Both of them were stunned, and Hugo Holden first asked, "Isn’t the largest shareholder Mr. Stanton? But all his shares were cashed in and handed over to the national treasury."
The lawyer shook his head and produced a docunt, saying, "Before the forr chairman had his incident, he transferred a portion of his shares to Sumr Monroe. Moreover, Stella Monroe’s shares were also transferred to Miss Monroe. Currently, Miss Monroe holds a total of twenty percent of the company’s shares. Morgan Monroe, being in Stella Monroe’s faction, would certainly not allow Sumr Monroe to ascend.
He imdiately said, "What does a young girl know about company operations? Besides, she’s still in school, and she probably isn’t interested in such things. I think it would be better to elect by voting."

Everyone in the eting room subconsciously looked towards the direction of the voice.
They saw a tall, stunningly beautiful girl with a barely discernible smile on her lips walking into the eting room.
The girl’s hair was jet-black and shiny, casually draped over her shoulders, highlighting her already fair skin like snow.
She wore a black silk suit, the quality of which naturally fell gracefully, paired with a delicately polished makeup, exuding an aura of power.
This wasn’t a schoolgirl, but clearly a queen wearing Prada, and even Morgan Monroe and Hugo Holden combined couldn’t match her presence.
For a mont, the eting room was as silent as a grave.
