Clarissa Stanton felt cold sweat running down her back, leaving it soaking wet.

Clarissa could lash out at Sumr Monroe, but against Damian Knight, she simply didn’t have the courage to do so.

Yet, just as she handed over the card, Damian Knight’s large hand intercepted it mid-way.
Clarissa Stanton looked at Damian Knight in confusion, only to hear Damian Knight’s cold voice say, "Since your Stanton Family has such a big problem with , I’ll just take back the business card you don’t want."
With that, he tore the card into shreds.
Clarissa Stanton was so frightened she didn’t dare to make a sound, cold sweat streaming down her back.
Damian Knight tossed the shredded pieces into the trash can beside him and then said, "I heard your family is negotiating a cooperation with our company, but now it seems there’s no need for it. I’ll notify to cancel all collaborations with your Stanton Group."
The color instantly drained from Clarissa Stanton’s face.
Henry Stanton had gone through so much trouble for this cooperation with Knight Group, and because of her, the deal was canceled. When she goes back, Henry Stanton will surely kill her!
Clarissa Stanton was trembling from head to toe, and regardless of how intimidating Damian Knight was, she grabbed his sleeve and pleaded tearfully, "Young Master Knight, please, don’t cancel the cooperation. It’s all my fault, bla alone, but don’t involve my father or implicate the company."

Clarissa Stanton was overwheld with fear and desperation; she could only turn to Sumr Monroe for help.
"Sister, I know stealing your card was wrong, but you can’t let our family lose the cooperation, this is your family too!"
Sumr Monroe laughed coldly inside.
Earlier, they wished snakes would bite her and dogs would attack her, and now they consider her family?
She displayed a helpless expression, spread her hands, and said, "I’m not close to Young Master Knight. I’m just a countryside girl who can’t speak for such matters. I think you should go ho and discuss with your father how to deal with this."
Clarissa Stanton couldn’t believe Sumr Monroe wouldn’t help.
