Imperial Hotel.

When Sienna arrived at her office that morning, she imdiately sensed that sothing was... off.

The hallway was quiet.

Normally, at this hour, the place would already be alive with movent, phones ringing, keyboards clicking, and staff greeting each other.

But today, the silence felt unusually heavy, causing her footsteps to echo more than usual.

As she approached her departnt, she slowed down a bit and then ca to a gentle stop. She looked around, taking in the room—empty desks, no chatter in the air, no sign of Mia or Riley. It was a quiet mont that made everything feel oddly still.

A coffee cup at each table was left behind as proof that soone had been there before her arrival.

Sienna blinked, her brows knitting together in confusion.

"Huh?" she muttered softly, stepping further inside. "Did I enter the wrong room?"

She even took a small step back, glancing at the sign outside, just to make sure she hadn’t sohow walked into a parallel universe where her entire departnt had vanished overnight.

But, she is still in the sa place.

"What is going on...?" she whispered, now fully stepping inside.

Only then did she notice a faint sound coming from the small eting room at the corner. A low murmur. A soft buzz of voices trying to stay quiet.

Curiosity imdiately replaced her confusion.

Sienna walked toward the door, her steps careful, almost suspicious, as if she were about to uncover so secret eting or, worse, a surprise party she definitely didn’t sign up for.

She approached the eting room.

Inside, Riley, Mia, and several other staff mbers were gathered tightly around the table, their attention fixed on a laptop at the center.

The way they leaned in, eyes wide and focused, made it look as if the laptop held the answer to life itself.

Not a single one noticed her. They were completely in a trance, staring at the laptop screen.

Sienna stood there for a second, watching them, her lips twitching slightly.

"Wow," she said casually. "Should I be jealous, or is that laptop your new boss?"

Her voice was enough to make everyone in the room jump in surprise.

Several heads snapped toward her at the sa ti, eyes wide as if they had just been caught doing sothing illegal.

For a split second, the room beca lively.

"Morning, Sienna!"

"Good morning!"

"Boss, you finally co..." Another staff mber playfully greeted her.

"You’re finally here!"

The greetings ca all at once, cheerful and oddly and overtly enthusiastic, making her can’t help but smile.

Without waiting for anyone to explain, Sienna stepped inside. "Why does it sound like you’ve been waiting for ?" she asked suspiciously.

"Sienna..." Mia stood up, her face lighting up in a way Sienna hadn’t seen in days. "You finally ca."

That expression alone made Sienna pause.

"Okay, now I’m scared to see you look at the way you look at your other half, Mia..." Sienna muttered, though she kept walking closer.

Riley, on the other hand, looked like a child who had just discovered treasure and was desperate to show it off.

"Sienna, hurry, hurry," he waved his hand dramatically. "Co here and see this!"

"See what?" she asked, though her curiosity was now fully awake.

The others quickly moved aside, making space for her like she was so kind of VIP guest arriving at an exclusive event.

"Please," Riley said with exaggerated politeness, pulling out a chair for her. "Take a seat."

Sienna gave him a suspicious look. "You’re being too nice. This is awkward."

"Just sit," he insisted, practically pushing her into the chair before turning the laptop toward her with a proud grin. "The punishnt."

That word alone sharpened her focus.

Without asking anything further, Sienna leaned forward, her eyes locking onto the screen. She could feel the others gathering behind her again, their excitent almost tangible as they waited for her reaction.

The company’s internal hopage was open. She saw an official announcent. Then, her gaze moved to the headline and froze.

"Oh, my god..." Sienna’s voice was rising without her realizing it. "They fired Angie and Anna? And a few people who help them, too?"

Behind her, the room exploded.

"Yes! Yes, they did!" Riley practically cheered, crossing his arms like a hero who had just saved the day. "Those people finally got what they deserved."

"Exactly!" another staff mber chid in. "I almost thought they would get away with it!"

"They really thought they were untouchable," soone else added, shaking their head.

Sienna blinked, still staring at the screen as if afraid the words might disappear.

"Managent didn’t take it lightly," Riley continued, his tone growing more serious, though satisfaction was still clear. "What Angie and the others did wasn’t just personal. It almost affected the guests. That’s a big mistake in this industry."

"Yes, agree with Riley," another staff mber nodded firmly. "We can’t joke about guest safety. This is not just office drama anymore."

Sienna slowly leaned back in her chair, her mind trying to catch up with everything. Relief. Shock. And a strange sense of victory, she wasn’t sure how to process.

"So..." she murmured, glancing over her shoulder at them. "Is this real?"

Riley placed a hand over his chest. A victorious smile played on his lips. "Do I look like soone who jokes about such beautiful news?"

Sienna gave him a flat look. "Yes."

The people in the room burst into laughter.

"Hey!" Riley protested. "I’m serious this ti!"

"Sure," Mia added, laughing softly. "For once in his life."

Sienna shook her head, a smile finally breaking through as the tension that had been sitting on her shoulders for days slowly lted away.

"Well," she said lightly, crossing her arms. "I guess karma works faster than we expected."

"Not karma," Riley corrected with a smug grin. "Professional teamwork."

"Ah, yes," Sienna nodded seriously. "Teamwork... with a little bit of chaos."

"Well, chaos is part of the process!" he added proudly.

The laughter that followed felt lighter than anything they had shared in days.

Sienna allowed herself to truly relax, completely unaware that while one storm had passed...

Another, far more personal one, was quietly waiting for her just around the corner.
