He burst into laughter! He was truly flattered; from "ex-boyfriend" to "never regretted it," this was truly a remarkable turn of events. Ex-boyfriend, at least that still had the term "boyfriend" in it! This is much better than I had imagined—at least I wasn’t just a "sugar daddy." That’s already sothing to be gratified about.
"Miss, if you don’t regret the step you took, why fall for soone else?" he asked.

He asked curiously, "Aren’t you planning to marry another?"

He wasn’t shocked, but rather annoyed. So what if it was her first love?
"TSK TSK TSK. So, the unlucky fellow you never loved—was he a Tycoon? A nouveau riche? Or so disgusting old man preying on young won to extend his own life?"

"Could he be super handso, by any chance?"

Was Wan Donglin even handso? She’d never really paid attention to his looks! How absurd.
"Did he treat you badly? Like those perverted rich n in TV dramas, using all sorts of thods to torture you?"
She was speechless for a mont. After a while, she replied, "There are so things you wouldn’t understand."
"Why wouldn’t I understand? That disgusting old man definitely wasn’t good to you, was he?"
"He really wasn’t all that good to . Actually, I never expected him to be."
"Did he hit you?"
"No, he didn’t."
"Did he insult or belittle you?"
"No, not that either."
"Did he use violence to force you into being with him at the beginning?"
She snapped, "Of course not."
"That’s strange. He didn’t hit or insult you, nor did he force you to be with him. So on what grounds do you say he treated you badly?"
She was stumped.
Truthfully, she had never really thought about this carefully before. She had always just felt that Wan Donglin didn’t treat her well. What exactly was so bad?
At the beginning, she had begged him to save her mother and help with her burial. Even when she lived in his golden house and fell ill, remaining sick for over three months, he had been patient. He waited until she fully recovered before they were intimate for the first ti. When she wanted to go to college, he let her finish. When she wanted to open a boutique, he opened a very large one for her. When she was pregnant, he often accompanied her and was completely attentive. So, what were the bad parts?

Luckily, she struggled desperately and pushed him away, so he didn’t manage to take advantage of her! It also caused her to fall down the stairs. However, he had rushed forward to block her fall, and she had landed on him. She ended up completely unhard, but he had probably ached for several days. Did that count as a violent act?
And yes, that scoundrel was also extrely acrimonious and vicious. He was always saying things like: "If you secretly get pregnant, dreaming of a sparrow turning into a phoenix, don’t bla for being harsh." And, "Rember, we are only in a transactional relationship. I can let you go whenever I get bored." Also, "I’ve never lied to you. I told you from the beginning that I wouldn’t marry you." These were acts of violence too! At least, verbal abuse! Many people think a vicious tongue is trivial. Little do they know, the destructive power of psychological abuse is no less than that of physical blows; sotis, it’s a fatal strike to one’s self-esteem.
