Yan Xixi burst into laughter again. This guy.
"Where are we eting?"

She really is a con artist! Wan Donglin burst out laughing. "No problem. It’s a deal then."
She suddenly rembered. "Foot-Picker, you have to send a photo of yourself too, otherwise I won’t recognize you."
"No problem. I’ll send you a picture on Tuesday evening. I’m very recognizable; I guarantee you’ll spot imdiately."
After they’d set the eting ti, Yan Xixi sohow felt a bit restless. It was a bit like Lord Ye’s professed love for dragons; while they hadn’t t, she was intensely curious about this guy. But now that a eting was imminent, she feared it would shatter her ntal image of him—and more importantly, her image in his mind.
She put down her phone, quickly washed up, changed her clothes, and felt a bit hungry.
Just as she was taking a sip of hot tea, the doorbell rang.
A server wheeled in a small dining cart.
When Yan Xixi saw it, she was taken aback by the incredibly lavish breakfast spread.
There was trella soup, century egg and lean at porridge, cheese with small bread rolls, and most surprisingly, a small bowl of white rice. The accompanying side dishes were: choy sum in clear broth, stir-fried Chinese kale, pickled pepper chicken feet, and fernted chili tofu.
Her eyes widened. The other items were one thing, but these particular side dishes were her old favorites—a habit she’d developed as a child. When her father was alive, their breakfast at ho almost always included these. In all the years since, apart from her ti at Wan Donglin’s house, she had never eaten like this.
It must have been during the early stages of her pregnancy. She had often vomited and had no appetite. Wan Donglin had repeatedly asked her what she wanted to eat. After thinking for a long ti, she rembered these few side dishes and told him. The very next day, every single item appeared on the breakfast table.
However, at the ti, he’d thought these foods weren’t very nutritious and shouldn’t be eaten long-term. So, he would often vary the nu to change her palate.
She had been staying at the hotel for so long. Although the breakfast buffet was incredibly lavish, with every conceivable option, these specific dishes had never once appeared all together like this.
She was utterly astonished and asked the server, "Who sent this?"
The server smiled. "Miss Yan, this is from the hotel. Since you’ve stayed with us for nearly a month, you’re now one of our valued VIP guests. So, for the last three mornings of your stay, we’ll be preparing a special breakfast just for you. Of course, we don’t know if it’s to your liking. If you have other preferences, please let us know, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your requests."
Only then did Yan Xixi breathe a sigh of relief. The server had already left. As Yan Xixi looked at the dazzling array of dishes, she still felt a strange sensation.
Could it really be such a coincidence???
