While she was still hesitating, Wan Donglin pushed open the door and walked in. Yan Xixi wanted to stop him, but sohow, she took a step back instead. Only then did she notice the two large bags Boss was carrying.
One bag was filled with various veggies and fruits, while the other held two large insulated containers. He took out the containers and placed them on the table.
"I knew you were too lazy to prepare anything."

How can things at ho compare to a hotel? In a hotel, you wake up to a vast selection of delicacies. Food and clothes are served to you without effort. But who’s going to do that for you at ho?

The window was open. Outside stood a majestic Magnolia Tree, its lush foliage casting a cool shade that made the room very refreshing despite the sumr heat. The purple flowers in the hanging basket on the windowsill were about to fade, their faint, sweet scent lingering in the air.
Wan Donglin contentedly approached the window, took a deep breath, and silently praised the fantastic choice of apartnt and its superbly done interiors. It’s truly delightful, he thought. The only drawback is that it’s just a bit too small.
Yan Xixi had already set the table and served herself a bowl of rice. Should I not serve him? she wondered. But he brought the food... She decided to treat it as going Dutch. At least I provided the bowls and chopsticks.
She then served him a bowl of rice as well.
The rice was served, but he was still standing by the window, gazing into the distance. She wanted to call him to eat but felt too awkward to speak. But eating alone would be just as uncomfortable.
